As an Indian user of high technology products to interface with my top quality and latest Ubuntu Linux PC Desktop or Laptop Computer from high technology companies - I have started REJECTING those peripherals and those companies which have not bothered to release free and open source Linux drivers for their devices. As with the best printers and high performance graphic cards, it is always best to do some research on whether a foreign company well known for manufacturing and distributing semiconductor and electronics gadgets that should work on USB port. Do check if they SUPPORT Ubuntu Linux or NOT before spending even one khota rupee on it.

Many white goods companies are going ballistic in advertising that they sell a ( High Quality ? ) product to Indian users and in Indian markets EVERY three SECONDS. But do these companies sell products that play well with your Ubuntu Laptop ?

Make sure before you buy. Let them WAIT for THREE HOURS before they sell a product to Indian consumers.

Olympus is one of those companies making small and tiny Digital Voice Recorders - (good for sting operations on Indian politicians who excel in buying Votes for Notes for Civil Nuclear Treaty and solving the power and energy crisis of Indians - hamara nara, ghar ghar mein bijli pahuchana .... )

Unfortunately Olympus has not bothered to release free and open source software drivers for their Digital Voice Recorders. As far as I am concerned Olympus Digital Voice Recorder is USELESS till it makes available free and easily downloadable software drivers to work with my UBUNTU Laptop running on BSNL Broadband Internet.

No point buying rubbish electronic junk and e-waste which DOES NOT work with Ubuntu Linux computers in India. And this will be public service of voluntary nature as Indian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology has hardly any guidelines for disposing electronic and computer junk and how to penalise those foreign companies which sell outdated technologies in India - Litter packaged up as Glitter . So before investing any rupees in more electronic junk and devices, ALWAYS check if it WORKS well with Ubuntu Linux.

कहते हैं कि झूठ मत बोलो पर बोलते सभी हैं. कहते हैं जीवन में आराम नहीं काम करना चाहिए पर आराम की तलाश सभी कर रहे हैं. दूसरे को सुख दो तो सुख मिलेगा और दुख दोगे तो वह भी तुम्हारे हिस्से में आयेगा, पर वास्तविकता में सभी अपने सुख जुटाने में लगे हैं और अवसर पाते ही दूसरे को दुख देते हैं. ज्ञान बघारने को सब तैयार पर चलने को तैयार नहीं है. आदमी का अहंकार उसे कभी अपने विचार से पीछे नहीं हटने देता. मानसिक अंतर्द्वंद में फंसा आदमी कभी भला किसी को सुख दे सकता है? रचना से अधिक विध्वंस में उसकी रूचि होती है. कहीं शांति हो उसका ध्यान नहीं जाता जहाँ द्वंद हो वहाँ वह मन और तन के साथ उपस्थित होने में उसे बहुत आनन्द आता है.

मेरा विचार सब माने-यह विचार हर आदमी का है. असहमति उसे उतेजित कर देती है और वह लड़ने पर आमादा हो जाता है. इस पूरे विश्व में तमाम तरह के वर्ग, जातियाँ, धर्म और भाषाएं हैं उनके आधार पर मनुष्यों ने अपने को अलग-अलग समूहों में बाँट लिया है, और इन समूहों के आपसे संघर्ष से इतिहास भरा पढा है . कहते हैं हम यह हैं और तुम वह हो .कही लड़ते हैं तो कहीं एकता की बात करते हैं. यह दोनों ही बाते भ्रम हैं क्योंकि कहीं जब एकता की चर्चा होती है तो सब अपनी गाते हैं और इसमें असहमति है और फिर बात इस निष्कर्ष पर ख़त्म होती है कि समूहों में एकता क्यों होना चाहिए? कहते हैं शांति के लिए! शांति क्यों हो? क्योंकि लडाई हो रही है? आदमी हमेशा अपने मन में विचारों का अंतर्द्वंद पाले रहता है जब वह शांत रह नहीं रह सकता समाज कैसे शांत रह सकता है. समान भी तो आदमी की इकाई से बना है.

भला अशांत मन कभी शांति ला सकते हैं. सहज नहीं होना चाहते बल्कि शांति चाहते हैं. हम चिल्लायें और बाकी लोग शांत हो जाएँ. हम कहें उसे सब माने और शांत हो जाएँ. कहीं लडाई विचारों की है को कहीँ शांति के लिए है. असहमति को खत्म करने के लिए सहमति बना रहे हैं और अधिक असहमत होते जा रहे हैं. भला सहमत हुए बिना भी कभी सहमति बन सकती है. अपने विचारों में बदलाव के बिना कभी हम जब किसी से सहमत नहीं हो सकते तो दूसरा कैसे हो जायेगा कभी सोचा है.
