In the early 90's, I began a serious exploration of the application of therapeutic gems for healing. Through a series of illuminating intuitive experiences, I was introduced to extraordinary new information about the uses of gems for enhancing health on all levels.

Since then, this information has been confirmed and expanded through further exploration, research, and testing. From these experiences emerged a deeper understanding of our energetic physiology, with profound implications for human health. From them also emerged new ways to evaluate, refine, and shape the gems themselves into reliable and potent therapeutic tools. Equally important, I learned techniques for using gems that are precise, systematic, and effective - techniques that lift gem therapy out of the realm of intuition, hunches, and folklore to a new form of energy medicine - gemstone energy medicine.

Doctors and patients are experiencing that energy medicine works - often where conventional medicine does not. Chronic debilitating illnesses, common ailments, aches, pains, and everything in between have responded to energy medicine practices. Energy medicine is shedding light on the true nature of health and disease and offering solutions to seemingly intractable health problems - often leaving those who practice it healthier and more vital than they thought possible.

One of the most powerful forms of energy medicine is gem therapy. Here, too, a change has taken place. Once relegated to the fringes of the healing arts, the therapeutic uses of gems were not widely adopted by either doctors or the public. Offering neither a coherent model of the human being's energetic nature nor precise therapy protocols and tools, gem therapy practices were inconsistent at best and ineffective at worst. Today, all that has changed. Pioneering information and effective new practices such s the ones being taught through American Eastern Institute are allowing gem therapy to take its rightful place as a cornerstone of energy medicine.

Kolkata: Asoka Lifescience Limited offers a first-of-its-kind Ayurvedic remedy for respiratory distress in patients of all ages. The new drug called Res-Q launched by Asoka Lifescience will cater to the growing number of patients with lung problems including a great percentage of children. The drug is made from new molecules by using medicinal herbs and incorporating a novel drug delivery system to render maximum efficacy.

“Our country has a vast knowledge base of Ayurveda whose potential is only being realised in the recent years. However, the drug delivery system used for administering the medicine to the patient is traditional and out-of-date resulting in reduced efficacy of the drug,” remarked Sourav Roy, Managing Director, Asoka Lifescience Limited. “We thought of coming up with a unique remedy of respiratory problems by blending the best of both- the tradition of Ayurveda and the technology of modern medicine.”

The drug is the outcome of rigorous research and development undertaken by the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Jadavpur University. Based on a poly-herbal composition, Res-Q is a mouth dissolving drug that mixes with the juices secreted by the salivary glands and dissolves completely within fifteen minutes of putting in the mouth. Thus the drug never makes it to the stomach and the vital constituents are not absorbed by the various digestive juices secreted within the metabolic system of the body.

“Our country has the second highest mortality rate of asthma, one of the primary respiratory ailments we are targeting,” Mr. Roy went on to say. “We don’t claim our product to be a miracle drug that will cure asthma completely, but we are quite confident that Res-Q will ensure relief from attacks much faster and minimize them in the long run if taken on a regular basis.”

Res-Q comes in a strip of ten tablets, moderately priced to make it affordable among all the sections of the society. Many other research based drugs for chronic as well as fatal ailments are lined up for launch in the coming months.

The drug has been distributed among all the major chemist shops throughout the state of West Bengal and an entire team of aggressive sales professionals has been formed to meet the needs of distributors across the state. Besides the conventional marketing strategies, Asoka Lifescience has also set up a round-the-clock helpline where queries on asthma and other respiratory ailments will be answered.

About Asoka Lifescience Limited

Asoka Lifescience Limited is a growing research based pharmaceutical company. The brainchild of young entrepreneur Sourav Roy, it is formed with the vision of ‘curing by caring’ for its patients. In the growing Indian pharmaceutical market, Asoka Lifescience is confident of holding centre stage in the coming years by delivering remedies of chronic ailments to a diverse cross section of the demographics. In order to provide new molecules for curing certain chronic ailments, a MoU has been signed with the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Jadavpur University.

Well. Class was much better today - no monumental dizziness, still tilty in a few postures, but mu

Well. Class was much better today - no monumental dizziness, still tilty in a few postures, but much much improved. And though this is good (definitely good) - that there's an easy solution to all this - I'm a little disappointed. I was enjoying my mostly raw food diet. But apparently I'm one of those people who just can't pull it off. The honest truth is, I wasn't feeling very well at all the past few days. I was tired, I was drained.

I revisited my materials on Ayurveda, and I seem to be much more Vata than I previously thought. Vatas and raw food are not a great combination - they need a higher proportion of cooked grains and vegetables (even cooked fruits, especially when very very out of balance), and - of course! - lots of healthy oils. That was the kicker for me. Oils. So, here I go, altering my diet for the umpteenth time in the past year. Tell you what, though, I feel much better today than I did yesterday at this time - and it was all about food.

Here's the thing. I'm not down on Raw Foods at all. I actually love eating this way. The problem is, it doesn't seem to like me beyond a certain point. I started going heavier on raw over the winter because I felt malnourished. I had lost weight quickly (mostly stress) last year, stayed thin, and despite what I felt was a good diet (vegetarian, lots of whole grains), I looked & felt bad. My skin was awful (dry, red, breaking out), my face was hollowed, my menstrual cycle was whacked, my digestion was terrible. Classic malabsorbtion - I wasn't absorbing enough nutrients from my food to support my health. I added more raw foods to my diet, and experienced improvement.

Over the months, I've increased the amount of raw foods in my diet from maybe 50% to nearly 100%. My digestion got much better, then suddenly worse. My skin got much better, then suddenly worse. These are the two most obvious (and frequent) signs of distress for my body. A lightbulb went on yesterday when I took a closer look at my skin (dry, irritated, dehydrated appearance, little pimples around my mouth) - my body is protecting itself the way it usually does, by conserving nutrients for more important organs like my heart, lungs, and brain. The skin is on its own. This means I'm once again not absorbing enough nutrients to support my health. Having been through this before, I could recognize the signs a bit more quickly this time.

Just to fully disclose, I had followed my food cravings to a high fruit diet. Fruit has always been my friend, very digestible. I was grazing a lot on watermelon, grapes, berries, mangoes, bananas. I would also have a HUGE green salad (plus sprouts, cucumber, olive or hemp oil, vinegar, etc.) for lunch or dinner. During the course of a day, I'd have a lot of fruit, a huge salad, a couple of avocadoes, maybe some zucchini or broccoli with guacamole. Or celery with cashew butter . And I was full. I didn't feel hungry. In fact, I couldn't have eaten more food if I'd tried.

The conclusion I've drawn, based on my experience only, is that a Raw Foods Diet is a very healing diet over the short term. But not necessarily a good long-term lifestyle choice for everyone. Much as I love my raw foods, I can't live on them 100% - I'm not absorbing everything I need to live healthfully from raw fruits and raw veggies only. All these raw foods are so good for me, but somehow they can't maintain me in good health without assistance from cooked grains or warm chai or - heaven forbid - scrambled eggs. For some of us, it's more about digestibility than nutrient content. Can't use the nutrients if I can't digest the food.

See, that's been the problem for me. Raw seemed like the way to go, mainly because my diet's been getting more and more limited. I've turned out to be one of those annoying 'sensitive' types - dairy, soy, corn, most legumes, most nuts. Not allergic, just 'sensitive' and can't digest them. So I cut back further and further almost to where it seemed like the only foods left were raw fruits and veggies. And cashews. Mmmm. Cashews.

I won't abandon raw foods entirely, as they feel really good and health-supporting, within proper proportions. But I will have to scale back & fight the temptation to live on raw fruit and greens almost exclusively. No fruit fasts. No juice feasts. Maybe just a nice, stable 75% raw diet.

Human beings survive on hope. Our quest for a better and healthier living never seems to end and we always believe there is a strong light at the end of the tunnel. Asoka Lifescience is formed with this basic objective of showing the path towards a life free from worries. No matter how the living conditions in our country worsen (with all the menace of pollution and stressful living), we will always come to your rescue with the elixir of life.

Our Perspective

Asoka Lifescience is a growing research based pharmaceutical company with the motto of harnessing the immense potential of Ayurveda in providing effective relief from chronic diseases. India has a rich history of Ayurveda, which is ‘the science of life.’ The tradition of Ayurveda dates back to 3000B.C. and is hailed as the pioneer science in curing all types of human ailments with a wholesome approach. Our vision is to incorporate Ayurvedic science within a modern framework and make it available to the people by using the means offered by technology. The motto of Asoka Lifescience Ltd. derives from this basic science of the betterment of human life. In other words, Asoka Lifescience is a journey into the future with firm foundation of history and tradition guiding us at every step.

… And Our Potential

In the present scenario, the Indian pharmaceutical industry occupies a prime position in the global pharmaceutical arena and Asoka Lifescience is confident of holding the centre stage in the coming years by delivering remedies of chronic ailments to a diverse cross section of the demographics. We are committed to work towards delivering cost effective Ayurvedic medication for chronic ailments of the human body and developing a novel drug delivery system for reducing the side effects to a bare minimum. In our endeavour, we are ably supported by the Research and Development wing of the Department of Pharm. Tech. of Jadavpur University. A MoU has been signed between us and together we look forward to developing newer remedies in the near future. It is by virtue of their laborious research that we are offering our first product Res-Q for the rescue of patients with respiratory problems.

We are in a day-to-day process of increasing the reach of our products by discovering untapped territories and creating awareness of the disease along with its corresponding remedy. We are more concerned about reaching out to the patient directly than via an organization or a doctor. This is essentially a B2C initiative and reflects a sincere approach on the company’s part. Our journey ahead is fuelled by the aspiration of becoming one of the leading providers in the pharmaceutical arena world over. With our generous investment in research and development, and clever marketing for catering to a sizeable chunk of the population, we are poised to reach the summit of global leadership in the near future.

Afterword

A French comedy playwright once remarked, “Most men die of their remedies, not of their illnesses.” This can be attributed to the prevailing confusion that clogs our minds while choosing a possible remedy for diseases pestering us for days. People keep on shifting their priorities and adopt new approaches every now and then. All the while we keep on forgetting that our very own country has a fabulous tradition of medicinal knowledge through the ages. Asoka Lifescience is keen to clear this confusion in people’s minds by giving you a more effective weapon for fighting your diseases and in the process make you more confident as an individual.

Meditation should not produce vata-disturbing (space-air-increasing) results. Here is why:
1)

Meditation should not produce vata-disturbing (space-air-increasing) results. Here is why:

1) A restful "activity" produces rest in the body/mind. An important saying in the Buddhist-Vedic-Yogic paradigm is that “you are what you experience.” The experience of the transcendent can NEVER produce the experience of dissociation, fear, anxiety (vata). The transcendental state of samadhi is pure selfless bliss, clear light of wisdom and the experience of samadhi reveals bliss without a self in the experiencer (the selfless one who is aware). This statement is true regardless of the "technique" one uses to access It (the state of Consciousness or samadhi).

2) Meditation (samadhi) is the foundation for wisdom (prajna). The Five Precepts (pancha shila or yama) are the foundation for meditation. The precepts are: 1: No killing (decrease Mars - Warrior energy - do no harm, be vegetarian if possible), 2. No stealing (don’t take what is not given), 3. No sexual misconduct (don’t allow you sexual desire to destroy yours or other’s relationships), 4. a.) No lying. b.) No harsh speech. c.) No divisive gossipy speech d.) Loose-chitchat-motor-mouth speech – Leaking away Qi / Ojas – Immunity 5. No alcohol or drugs: Ideally even no coffee or black tea if pitta or vata disturbed (no caffeine), no cigarettes - no drug addiction: techno ecstasy, crack cocaine, marijuana, psychedelics all disturb vata-pitta in the mind and are tamasic. The three Non-Outflow Studies are: 1. Precepts (Shila), 2. Meditation (Samadhi), 3. Wisdom (Prajna)

3) The Buddhist meditation text called the Shurangama Sutra (www.BTTSonline.org) says that cooked garlic, onions, leeks, shallots, chives or hing makes one over-sexed (pitta-kapha disorders), and when eaten raw they make one angry (pitta liver disorders). These are called “the five pungent plants” and should not be eaten by cultivators of a spiritual path or by those who wish to meditate, unless they are sick and need to take them as medicines for short periods of time. It is better to eat a sattvic diet (Request the handout on Sattva-Rajas-Tamas).

4) There is a common experience that finds one anticipating prior “results” and this leads to problems with the innocence of meditation, regardless of the technique. No matter how “bad” or “good” a meditation seems subjectively, let it go into the akasha (space) of emptiness (shunyata). Do not judge it, anticipate it, or reject it. Every meditation is “successful.” Buddhist Ch’an Meditation Master Hsuan Hua teaches that the only “bad meditation” is when you don’t sit to meditate that day. Sitting daily for meditation without fail is most important.

5) Thoughts (vata and especially emotions) are the product of release of stress that is being released in the body. These thoughts actually have a biochemical existence and are found throughout the body, but especially, according to Dr. Lad, in the connective tissue. Activity can release these as the heat factor transforms these molecules or/and activates them to leave their place of lodging. They become more “apparent” from the increased circulatory activity. While circulating they are bumping into cell membranes in the neighborhood producing stimuli/response activity. This is experienced as thought from the awareness of the stimulus. Mediation, as rest, causes the same kind of experience but for a different reason. There is no heat and increased circulatory activity. The rest promotes the natural function of the cell. But again the release of biochemical stuff that doesn't belong there is affected. This is experienced as thoughts, but it is not causing a vata-disturbance.

6) These experiences of having thoughts are the principle reason for doing exercise and stretching, Tai Qi, Aikido, or yoga asanas (poses), yogic breathing (prana yama) and/or Sutra (scripture), Mantra (dharani) or prayer chanting just prior to meditating. These techniques comprise an adjunct strategy for helping to quiet the mind and to settle the physiology. This promotes and enhances the transcendental experience both in meditation and in the moment-to-moment activity of life. Considering using the Shurangama Mantra Heart 108x: “Om she dan dwo bwo da la”.

In sabaka jab yatha samay varanan kiya jayega aur bataya jayega. Philhal Nidan panchak ka yahan vishay hai, ise sanajh lein to achcha hai.

Nidan panchak meon paanch sutra hain.

1- Nidan

2- Purva roopa

3- Roop

4- Upashay

5- Samprapti

Nidan ka ek matalab karan se bhi hai, isake baare mein kaha gya hai ki jin karanon se rogon ki utapatti hoti hai, ve sabhi nidan hain. Jaise Mitti khane se piliya rog ho jaye to "Mitti" nidan hua.

Poorva roop se matalab yah hai ki, rog hone ke pahale ke shuru ke lakshan, jaise bukhar aane se pahale, badan tootana, angadai lena, badan dard karana, thandi lagana ityadi. Ye sab purva rup mein aate hain.

Roop se tatparya hai, jab rog ke sare lakshan prakat ho jayein aur rog ke sabhi chinha khulakar samane aa jayein.

Upshay se tataparya hai, rog ko shant karane ke upay, jis rog se rogi grasit hai, vah kasie theek ho, kaise upay kiye jay jisase rog door ho,

Samprapti, thoda kathin vishay hai, ise ek line mein samajhaye de raha hun, ki Jab Vata ityadi dosha kupit hote hain aur unake parinam swaroop jo stithi banati hai, use samprapti janatey hain.

AVOID the CAPITALIZED by DOING the following to help balance Vata
DRY—avoid or reduce raw foods, d

AVOID the CAPITALIZED by DOING the following to help balance Vata

DRY—avoid or reduce raw foods, dry climates, alcohol, eat oily foods—cook with oil, add ghee to breads not toasted, add oil to salads, etc; daily oil massage makes the skin softer and helps strengthen yet soften it—sesame is antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, antineoplastic (colon cancer and melanoma); oil in other orifices is also a good idea for similar reasons; most soaps/determents are drying / harsh to skin—use soaps (not detergents) such as castile soap; essential fatty acids are important for the maintenance of the cell membrane’s liquidity, flexibility

LIGHT—avoid windy areas/weather, high altitudes; light foods should be reduced (they lack oiliness or protein-like components); substitute heavy bedding / clothing for light bedding / clothing—heavy things help ground vata; alcohol is light and should be avoided; the color green is good for reducing vata (green is nourishing and probably heavy in this context), while black is to be avoided; day sleep may be an important behavioral modification for those struggling with light body weight; at times sleep in the night will be light for this group of people, in which case herbal strategies might include nutmeg, valerian, skullcap, etc.

COLD—avoid situations which promote, provoke, increase or otherwise bring your attention to depression, attachment, worry, fear, anxiety, hopelessness, insecurity, helplessness; avoid cold food, drink & weather / air conditioning, cold dairy, sweets, yogurt (and especially in evening), aged cheeses, cucumbers; to promote and increase digestive function affected by this attribute eat pungent foods and spices such as chilies, black pepper, ginger, cayenne, cumin, ajvain, hing (asafetida), mustard seeds, drink copper water (water stored overnight in pure copper container); favor hot / moist saunas, hot, moist living climates; meditate daily to stimulate mental fire, use mustard oil in cooking or externally for its heating property (when oil is not contraindicated); wear warm clothing, scarves, hats, to prevent chilling in cool, windy weather, etc.; despite the above advice to walk barefoot for grounding avoid walking on cold surfaces

ROUGH—avoid eating raw foods, which are rough in their nature; rough surfaces irritate vata sensibilities; many cleansers are rough to skin so avoid them by using gloves, etc.; the feature is implied in uneven sleeping surfaces—avoid them; avoid experiencing sentiments that are harsh, cruel, crass, rough

SUBTLE—those sensory, mental, emotional experiences which are strong and create impressions on the person should be avoided; alcohol is subtle and should be minimized/avoided; stimulants generally should be avoided

MOBILE / ERRATIC—avoid excessive physical or mental activity; avoid physical activity that is stop-and-go in its quality; avoid vigorous physical activity during the vata time 2-6 PM; daily routine should be regular to help control this vata quality; grounding activities help slow down vata—walking on the earth in bare feet or working in the soil (gardening) with bare hands; gazing at the mountains helps ground vata movement; creating bonds with groups and things helps build roots—e.g. owning pets and joining affinity or support groups; swaying, swinging, agitated movements of limbs is a sign of deficient/defective rest, which suggests that one should stop the nervous motion and expand and improve the quantity/quality of rest

CLEAR—clear quality accompanies light and rough things or foods, especially air, alcohol and such; one should reduce exposure to these; take more oily/heavy food (cloudy foods are opposite to clear—these include milk products); viewing colored materials—colored light, colors in nature, etc. in the green, red, orange, and yellow spectra helps balance this feature of vata (while other colors are strictly speaking opposite to clear these are not balancing to vata); alcohol is clear and should be avoided

BITTER—bitter taste in the mouth is indication of high vata; avoid or reduce bitter tasting foods such as mustard, collard greens, etc.; bitterness in emotions produces separation / isolation--situations which provoke it should be avoided; isolation in life also leads to increased bitterness and suggest a balance of social interaction for a healthy/happy life

ASTRINGENT—avoid or reduce astringent foods as they are drying—these include mainly beans, but also apples, pears, pomegranates, etc.; wind is drying unless especially humid and should be reduced;

RAJAS—this feature of the mind, common to vata, promotes the active / dynamic aspects of life, addictive behavior, self-centered behavior—these features should be avoided as much as possible

The Big Picture for Vata

1. Remove the causes of the imbalance by direct behavioral avoidance: give particular attention to the attributes of the imbalance as detailed above. This attention requires daily meditation for awareness.

2. Remove excess vata by elimination therapies — pancha karma (Ayurvedic cleansing-rejuvenation):
• Do therapeutic herbal – oil enemas (Dashamula or Bala tea basti with sesame oil) as indicated
• Do nasal administration as indicated – Super Nasya Oil or Brahmi Ghee nose drops (www.Ayurveda.com)
• Do heating, oleating, nourishing therapies as indicated with jasmine, lavender, patchouli, rosemary, tulsi

3. Balance vata (space and air): Decrease dry, light, cold, rough, hard, subtle, hyperactive, astringent, bitter, dry spicy, and thin qualities.
• Avoid vata’s attributes in food, forms, feelings and emotions, thinking, activities, lifestyle, relationships, and consciousness – this takes daily meditation in order to develop mindfulness, awareness or samadhi.
• Control metabolism and nervous system with dietary, lifestyle, and activity changes to promote moisture, oiliness, heaviness, warmth, softness, substantiality, groundedness, and calmness (relax, don’t worry, be happy)

4. Balance / strengthen digestion: Decrease hyperactivity, dryness and cold (vishama agni – irregular metabolism) and increase moist heat in metabolism.
• Increase sour and salty foods in diet especially when dry, cold, light and hyper qualities are in excess.
• Increase fire component in food, lifestyle via gentle warm cooking spice (not hot dry cayenne)

5. Eliminate mental and body tissue toxicity: Herbal and dietary strategies that help eliminate heavy metals, petrochemicals etc. Also avoid suppression of needs-urges – but balance them with proper 1. Eat less Food, 2. Sleep more, 3. Balanced exercise and less sex: Vata soothing foods at 8 AM, 12 Noon, 6 PM; sleep on left side at 9-10 PM – wake up between 6 and 7 AM; no more than one orgasm each month in order prevent weakening of liver and kidneys in order to build ojas and give energy. To detoxify and bring warmth, chant 21x Great Compassion Sun Mani Mantra 8 (32): “Shr fwo la ye. Nan. Sa wa he”. Chant “Namo Shurangama Tu She Fa” to bring deep restful dream-free sleep. To improve memory, chant the Jeweled Sutra Hasta Mantra 37 (53-56): “Syi two ye. Swo pe he. Mwo he syi two ye. Swo pe he. Nan. Sa wa he” or simply recite “Bwo na ni, Fa la ni” (for wisdom). To dispel fear and anxiety, and “for all situations where there is fear and unrest, use the Bestowing Fearlessness Sarva Abhaya Hasta Mantra” 7 (72): “Nwo la jin chr pan chye la ye. Nan.”
`
6. Rejuvenation of tissues with herbals and behavioral programs as indicated: Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Jatamamsi (Nardostachys jatamamsi). Enjoy the sound of rain, Indian and Western Classical, soft, slow, low pitched, sustained sounds, hence no techno, punk or heavy metal or rajasic (fast hyperactive or loud) music that would disturb vata. Daily self-massage with Mahanarayan-Oil. Wear mostly green, yellow, orange, and red clothing. Surround yourself with these colors. Go daily to sunny green nature to silently walk. Chew candied ginger root or whole fennel seeds hourly. 2x daily meditation for minimum 30 minutes along with pranayama with Super Nasya Oil.

It always amazes me how much money people will spend on all those jars of baby food every week. Not

It always amazes me how much money people will spend on all those jars of baby food every week. Not only is the food inside those jars barely passable as food, but it's expensive! You spend all that money, and your baby just isn't getting the natural nutrition that regular, healthy food can provide.

Not convinced? Consider this:

The government allows a certain amount of rat feces to be present in baby food. (you can find the legal amounts in reports at your local library)

They boil the food to death to sterilize it, cooking out all the natural vitamins and minerals, and then add them back in with the bottled version.

While organic baby food is better, it still goes through the same processes of manufacturing, and still as an allotment for rat feces.

Babies tend to eat much more of the jar food simply because their little bodies are trying to get the nutrients they need. So they get more empty calories, contributing to the raise in childhood obesity.

So if that has you convinced at last, here is the solution. Make your own baby food! It's cheap, easy, quick and healthy. Here's what you do.

Steam a bag of veggies like you would for your own dinner.

Put them in a bowl (for hand blender) or blender.

Blend with enough distilled water to achieve the consistency of baby food.

That's it!

If you want fruit, simply peel, and run through the blender with distilled water.

If you have a hand blender, the cleanup is even easier. If you really want to go the healthier route, try buying organic fruits veggies. And if your Ayurvedic practitioner has prescribed dosha specific food for your baby, use those fruits and veggies.

It's so easy! My son has never had the stuff out of jar. He has only had organic fruits and veggies prepared in this way.

Note:Babies need a chance to get used to this food if they are just starting to eat, or have been eating the jarred stuff. If they make funny faces, it does NOT mean they don't like it. It's just their natural reaction to new flavors and textures. You know your baby doesn't like something when he won't open his mouth, or cries when you give him a certain food. But if he/she is only making funny faces, and continues to open their mouth for more food, then continue to give it to them. After a while, the funny faces will disappear.

Maine bahut se rogiyon ko , jinhen bypass surgery karane ke liye kaha gaya tha, unaki chikitsa karake yah nishkarsh nikala. yadi Ayurveda, Homoeopathy aur Prakaratik chikitsa ka samnvit ilaj diya jaye to unaki bimari badhegi nahin , rog ki tibrata ke attacks kam ho jayenge, aur jo kharcha hai , usase bhi bachat hogi. Ek mahila ke , jise Coronary Artery Disease diagnosis huyi thi, unaka kai bar maine swayam Cardiogramm record kiya, jisame abnormality mili, lekin kai saal baad jab usane sthaniya Medical College mein check up karaya to usase kaha gaya ki use koi bhi, hraday rog sambandhi bimari nahin hai.

Research on premature ejaculation
http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/8254.php

It is one of man's most common, underestimated sexual problems: Ejaculating earlier than desired. More common than erectile dysfunction, this condition can affect men at any point in their lives, and one in four men experience poor control over ejaculation on a frequent basis.

According to published research, 20-30 percent of men worldwide are commonly affected by premature ejaculation (PE), yet this medical condition remains a taboo subject in virtually every culture. Two presentations at this week's 99th Annual Meeting of the American Urological Association (AUA) are helping to increase understanding and discussion of this common male sexual condition.

"Premature ejaculation is a frequent and distinct medical condition that can severely impact quality of life, affecting the physical and emotional well-being of patients and their partners," says James H. Barada, M.D., urologist at the Center for Male Sexual Health, Albany, NY, and board member of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA). "But most men are reluctant to talk about it with their partners or physicians."

Smoking is such a curse that everybody wants to stay away from it but unfortunately, most of us fall into this dreadful trap.

The instinct to smoke is really hard to ignore but as we say that nothing is impossible if we have the right intention. Smoking is responsible for various illnesses like cancer, respiratory diseases and cardiovascular diseases.

1. Smoking Results in Fatal Diseases

Smoking does not only harm the smokers, but also the nonsmokers, resulting in various ailments. Smoking completely damages all parts of your digestive system, contributing to such common disorders as heartburn and peptic ulcers. It also heightens the risk of Crohn's disease and possibly gallstones.

2. Smoking Harms Sexual Health

Smoking is the major destroyer of your sexual health. It straightaway attacks the erectile function in men causing erectile dysfunction. Smoking reduces volume of semen ejaculation leading to reduction in sperm count causing abnormal sperm shape.

Ontgiften lijkt simpel.

Of simpel.

Ganthon yani glands ka naam sunatey hi koi bhi vyakti ghabara jata hai, ki kahin yah gaanth Cancer k

Ganthon yani glands ka naam sunatey hi koi bhi vyakti ghabara jata hai, ki kahin yah gaanth Cancer ki na ho. Main aap sabako bata dena chahta hun ki sharir mein hone wali sabhi ganthe Cancer nahin hoti aur ise prarambhik roop mein bilkul nahin samajhna chahiye, jab tak ki achchi tarah aur puri puri janchein na ho jayein. SABHI GANTHEIN "CANCER" KI GANTHEIN BILKUL NAHIN HOTI, YAH BAAT GAANTH BANHKAR RAKH LEIN.

Ab main ganthon ke bare mein batata hun.

Chchoti umar ke bachchon aur balako mein Tonsillitis aur pharyngitis ke karan "Lymphadenitis" hoti hai, yeh ganthein bachchon ki gardan ki sides mein hoti hain. Yah isaliye hoti hain ,kyonki Tonsills ke inflammation ka prabhav gardan ki lymphs par padata hai aur is vajah se ganthein ek series mein ho jati hain. Bahut se chikitsak is tarah ki ganthon ko Tubercular ghosit kar dete hain, aur bhram mein aakar Antitubercular treatment shuru kar dete hain. Jo baad mein bachchon ko suit nahin karata aur unako kai anya prakar ki bimariyan aa gherati hain, isaliye maa-baap ko chahiye ki is bare mein satarkata baratein.

Agar badi uamar ka ladaka ya kadaki ho aur use garadan ya anya sthan ki ganthein hon aur yah ganthein bukhar aane ke saath saath darad paida karein, jalan paida karein, jaise jaise bukhar badhata jaye, dard aur jalan ki intensity adhik hoti jaye, jaise jaise darad kam ho ganthon ka dard aur jalan kam ho tatha size bhi chchota hota chala jaye, to is prakar ki ganthin ko Tubercular yani TB ki ganth samajhana chahiye. TB ki ganth hamesha Bukhar ke badhane ke saath sath akar , jalan aur dard, yah teen batein mukhya roop se saath saath lati hain. Isake alava dusari aur bimariyan bhi hoti hain, jaise vajan kam hona, bhukh na lagana, khansi aana ityadi.

Sharir mein ek vichitra tarah ki ganthein hoti hain, jo twacha ke niche ho jati hain aur sare sharir mein fail jati hain, inhe koi cystic formation kahata hai, koi lipid formation kahat hai, lekin inase koi nukasan nahin hota hai, pichchle 55 varson se maine bahut se logon ko dekha hai, isamein sivay haath pairon mein aur sharir ke dusare hisson mein oopar ki tvacha vikrat si dikhati hai, par koi nukasan nahin hota dekha gaya hai.

Kuchch ganthein bahut kadi hoti hain, aur patthar jaisi hoti hain, inamein dard nahin hota arthat painless hoti hain. Yah sharir mein kahin bhi ho sakati hain. Striyon mein Mammery Glands mein ho jati hain. Is tarah ki ganthon ka ilaj karana chahiye aur bahut satark rahana chahiye.

Sabhi ganthein Cancer nahin hoti, Beningn stage mein koi khatar nahin hai, lekin Malignent stage mein savdhani baratani chahiye. Dono hi avasthaon mein ilaj jaroor karein.

Ayurveda aur Homoeopathy dono mein Ganthon ka bahut achcha ilaj hai.

In the formal launch of our first product Res-Q, the world’s first poly-herbal mouth dissolvi

In the formal launch of our first product Res-Q, the world's first poly-herbal mouth dissolving tablet for respiratory distress, the man behind the medicine Prof. Bishwanath Sa of the Pharm. Tech. Deptt of Jadavpur University enlightened us on the concept of a novel drug delivery system. I'm going to copy and paste the exact speech in this post. Hope you enjoy reading it!

“About 4 yrs ago, one young gentleman came to me and expressed his desire to develop a poly herbal product based on research and development. He also emphasized that the product should be made using the form of novel drug delivery system, and not in the conventional form of churna, powder, paste, or ordinary tablets. We have selected some time tested constituents which have been recognized by the Indian system of medicine as safe and efficacious. Respiratory distress was out first area of interest, because of the growing environmental pollution. We scanned through the plant products and selected some constituents that have been proved to be effective for centuries. These plants grow in different regions. Depending upon the geographical conditions the active constituents may vary. After collecting the plants, we separated the extracts. Then we thought of incorporating the novel drug delivery system. Let us understand what novel drug delivery is.

When we take a tablet, we swallow it. Now what is the journey of the drug in the body? It reaches the stomach and breaks down to the components of the drug. The drug dissolves in the fluid of stomach and intestine. Then it crosses the gastro intestinal barrier and reaches the blood. Finally, it goes to the liver, and then to the blood and finally the target area.

In case of these plant products, or modern medicine or chemical constituents, there is a great possibility that many compounds will be destroyed in the highly acidic pH of the stomach. The absorption of many drugs will be interfered by the presence of covalent areas. And many components may be metabolized by the liver before reaching the blood. The consequence is the actual amount of the drug may not reach the blood. If the drug doesn’t reach the blood at a minimum level which is known as ‘minimum effective level’ then there will be no therapeutic effect. So when our doctor tell us to take baasak in a cup of boiling water, the amount of baasak might not have reached the blood, not producing the desired effect. To counter this problem, pharmaceutical technology is looking for alternative route of administration. Our oral cavity is perfused with blood. Blood comes from carotid artery in the mouth and returns to the heart directly through general circulation through jugular vein. If we place the drug in the oral cavity, it will bypass the acidic pH of the stomach; bypass the interference of food material in stomach, and the food metabolism. This was the basic idea behind incorporating novel method of drug delivery in our poly herbal product making it the world’s first poly herbal mouth dissolving tablet for respiratory distress and giving it an efficacy equivalent to that of Sorbitrate.”

Ayurveda mein vayu ka swaroop ka varanan is prakar se kiya gaya hai. VAYU anya doshon, yatha pitta aur kapha ko aur ras, rakta, mans aadi sapta dhatuon ko doosari jagah pahuchane wali. jaldi chalane wali, rajoguan yukta, soochchama, halki, rookhi aur chanchal hoti hai.Shwas ka lena aur ise chchodana bhi vayu ka hi karya hai.Vayu se dhatu aur indriyan surakshshit rahati hain aur yah hridaya aur chitta ko dharan karati hain. Yah gun mein shital hai, narm aur yogwahi hai, yani yah jisake saath mil jati hai, usi ke tarah ke gub ko dharan kar leti hai. Yadi yah garm ke saath milati hai to isake gun garm ho jate hain, aur yadi sheetal ke saath milati hai to sheetal ho jati hai. Pitta ke saath milakar pitta ki tarah se hi kaam karegi aur kapha ke saath kapha jaise kaam karegi.

Sabh teeno doshon mein VAYU hi pradahan hai, bin vayu ke koi bhi manushya ek second bhi nahin ji sakega. Manushyon ke liye bahari aur bhitari dono prakar ki Vayuon ki avashyakata hoti hai. Bahari hava athava vayu se manushya chaitanya aur jivit rahata hai, vahin bitari vayu se manushya sans lekar jivit rahta hai.

Ayurveda mein kaha gay hi ki jitane bhi dosha hain , ve sab langadey hain, vayu inhe jahan le jana chahati hai, he vahan jate hain, kaha bhi gaya hai, ki "Pitta langada hai, kapha langada hai aur sabhi mal tatha dhatuyein langadi hain, vayu in sabako jahsn le jana chahati hai, vahin yah badalon ki tarah se chale jaate hain"

Ayurveda shashtra mein VAYU dosha ki pradhanta ke bare mein, lagabhag sabhi granthon mein isaki shakti aur mahima ke baare mein bataya gaya hai.

In the years since I first began to work with therapeutic gems and uncover their hidden potential for healing, the field of energy medicine has undergone a transformation. In 1988, when I began my exploration of these powerful healing tools, energy medicine in its various forms was practiced in the West by a few pioneering physicians and enjoyed by a relatively small number of people looking for alternatives to conventional medicine. While the ancient science of acupuncture was taking root in Western medical offices, practices such as homeopathy and Reiki were at the crest of a wave that would soon sweep the West.

Since then, a minor revolution has taken place. This paradigm sees the human being as an integral part of a universe in which, on a fundamental level, matter is a form of energy. In this paradigm, each person is a unique system of interconnected fields of energy and information. Treatments used in energy medicine address this most fundamental level of the human form, affecting the very stuff of which we are made. These treatments target the underlying causes of illness and discontent, rather than merely the symptoms. By using this approach, energy medicine aims not only to improve our health but to transform it. Today this new, energetic model of the human being and human health is not only embraced by large numbers of people, it has excited the interest of many physicians and medical researchers.

AVOID the CAPITALIZED by DOING the following to help balance, cool and calm Pitta Dosha:
HOT (ushna)

AVOID the CAPITALIZED by DOING the following to help balance, cool and calm Pitta Dosha:

HOT (ushna) — avoid mid-day activity and especially being in the sun; avoid pungent or hot-spicy foods/spices such as peppers, chilies, etc., sour foods as vinegar, grapefruit, lemons, and other citrus (limes are OK), and excess salt (saindhava / mineral salt is OK since it is cooling); cool sleeping environment is important, too; behavior that is critical, judgmental, perfectionistic, angry, jealous, hateful, envious, aggressive, competitive should be avoided as these are heating and create a vicious circle of heat disturbing and harming the liver.

SHARP (tikshna) — stimulants tend to be in this category — especially coffee and alcohol — these should be minimized; fermented foods like yogurt, miso, soy sauce, tempeh are to be reduced for this reason; sensory experiences (sounds and light), especially that have sharp or bright intensity should be reduced; some feel dental flossing the teeth may make gums unnecessarily tender from excess sharp. Be gentle and soft by cultivating patience and daily meditation in order to counteract the sharp (overly critical) eyes, sharp perfectionistic mind, sharp angry tongue, sharp sarcastic humor, sharp divisive words, and sharp pain of pitta. Practice daily meditation Tai Qi, Qi Gong, Aikido, Yoga (Moon Salutation), cool shitali pranayama breathing.

SLIGHTLY OILY (sneha) — avoid excess consumption of oils, fats, dairy, greasy or deep-fried foods, coffee, avocados, etc.; favor more dry or astringent foods; eat modest amounts of raw fruits and vegetables (raw foods increase anger); essential fatty acids are important so this is not a recommendation against all oil intake.

LIGHT (laghu) — reduce exposure to windy areas /weather and high altitudes; light foods should be eaten in moderation; substitute heavy bedding and clothing for light ones — heavy things help ground vata and pitta; alcohol is light and should be avoided; this feature of pitta embraces luminosity and bright light is a problem for pitta so be careful of oncoming high-beam headlights at night and of bright sun (especially midday) – try doing mild sunning exercises early in morning to strengthen eyes’ ability to handle bright sun light naturally.

FLESHY SMELL (visram) — this attribute of pitta suggests that one moderate exposure to strong smells as they irritate pitta. Pitta may have strong, fleshy, fetid, fishy, decaying, sweat-sock-like, metallic, bitter or burnt smell in underarms, perspiration, breath and body odors; hence avoid meat, ocean-fish and fermented foods.

SPREADING / MOBILE (sara) — “heat expands, cold contracts”; hence pitta expands, invades-conquers, spreads (usually upward [as in acid reflux] and is mobile, as in “yuppie” or “young upwardly mobile urban professional”. This attribute of pitta is responsible for courage, aggression, competitiveness, acquisitiveness, “spreading of name and fame is the pitta game”, seeking prestige and power; hence we suggest that proper boundaries (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, societal and legal) must be put in place to “reign in” these spreading and overtaking individuals; team sports or Tai Qi, “Push Hands” (Tui Shou) and Aikido are important for balancing these competitive spreading attributes; since liquidity gives pitta the ability to move around the body one should monitor fluid/oil intake to prevent dehydration, excess body heat, and stagnation of secretions, etc.; strenuous activity in the pitta times 10 AM to 2 PM and 10 PM to 2 AM should be avoided. This quality causes forest fires to spread, knowledge to spread, rashes to spread, viruses to spread, cancer to metastasize and nations to invade other countries. Bitter astringent flavors in the diet, combined with daily meditation and relaxation are most important. We cannot “stress” enough the need to meditate daily in order to control stress.

LIQUID (drava) — avoid excess fluids (6-8 cups room temperature water per day is best), avoid hydrophilic food and drink such as yogurt, salt (except mineral salt [saindhava], which is diuretic), sour foods, cheese, and excessive amounts of juicy fruits and vegetables, etc.; avoid sedentary lifestyle (exercise promotes sweat); drink cool / room temperature liquids (not cold) when and if thirsty; favor living and working in dry climates (winter and spring seasons are problematic for liquid in many geographical areas); favor pancha karma elimination techniques (purgation with amalaki or bhumyamalaki and rakta moksha via donating a pint of blood) during this time (junctions of summer / fall or spring / summer) to control increase of liquid in physiology; use sandalwood to control congestion buildup, favor cool-dry or warm-dry living areas, more than hot and humid ones.

ACID / SOUR (amla) — pitta is sour, acidic, caustic or sarcastic. Citrus is acidic-sour containing vitamin C, citric acid is acidic and increases pitta (acid belly, acid-reflux) — Vitamin C should be moderated (less than 500mg daily – but instead take ½ - 1 teaspoon of amalaki [Emblica offinalis] before bedtime on empty stomach); B-Vitamins are pitta increasing and should be taken moderately for the same reason; vinegar is to be used with care; avoid especially grapefruits and lemons; but lime juice is OK since although it is sour to the taste, it is energetically cooling and sweet in affect — hence better for pitta. Avoid alcohol, yogurt, and sour fruits in order to decreases pitta’s sour tendency. Sour in excess harms the liver and gallbladder causing envy (as in “green with envy” [gall bladder bile]). Sour excess also causes anger and jealousy – both hot and sour emotions. So avoid Chinese “hot and sour soup” and other such spicy and sour-vinegary combinations. The Chinese expression for jealousy is “drink vinegar” (“che tsu”). Don’t be a grumpy sour-puss. Too much sour will combine with the already liquid and hot – spreading quality of pitta to give loose stool or diarrhea.

The Big Picture for Pitta (Hot and Sharp – Fire and Water)

1. Remove the causes of the imbalance by direct behavioral avoidance; give particular attention to the attributes of the imbalance as detailed above. This attention requires daily meditation for awareness.

2. Remove excess pitta by elimination therapies — pancha karma (Ayurvedic cleansing-rejuvenation):

Do therapeutic purgation as indicated (nightly amalaki [Emblica officinalis], bhumyamalaki or triphala)

Do blood letting as indicated (donated blood to a blood bank at least twice a year to cleanse the blood)

Do cooling-calming, drying, and lightening (not heavy) therapies as indicated. Sandalwood is great.

3. Balance pitta (fire and water): Decrease hot, sharp, oily, intense, bright, fleshy, spreading, liquid, sour.

Avoid pitta’s attributes in food, forms, feelings and emotions, thinking, activities, lifestyle, relationships, and consciousness – this takes daily meditation in order to develop mindfulness, awareness or samadhi.

Control metabolism with dietary, lifestyle, and activity changes to promote coolness, calmness, dryness

4. Balance / strengthen digestion: Decrease excess fire (tikshna agni) without putting out the fire altogether.

Increase sweet, bitter and astringent foods in diet especially when hot or sharp qualities are in excess.

5. Eliminate mental and body tissue toxicity – Herbal and dietary strategies that help eliminate heavy metals, petrochemicals etc. Also avoid suppression of needs-urges – but balance them with proper 1. Food, 2. Sleep, 3. Sex: Pitta soothing foods at 7:30 AM, 12 Noon, 6-7 PM; sleep on right side at 10 PM – wake up at 5:30; no more than one orgasm every two weeks in order to strengthen liver and kidneys to build ojas and give patience. To detoxify - bring coolness, chant 5x Great Compassion Moon Mani Mantra 9: “Du lu du lu. Nan. Sa wa he”

6. Rejuvenation of mind and body with herbals and behavioral programs as indicated – Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus), Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia), Brahmi (Centella asiatica), Punarnava (Boerhaavia diffusa), Shankhapushpi (Convolvulus alsinoides). Enjoy the sound of rain, Indian and Western Classical, soft, moderate speed, and complex music. Daily self-massage with Pitta-Oil. Wear mostly blue, green, purple or indigo clothing. Surround yourself with these colors. Go to the deep blue ocean and the cool green forest to silently walk. Chew whole fennel seeds or coriander seeds hourly. Jasmine, lavender, rose, sandalwood, or vetivert aromatherapy. 2x daily meditation for minimum 30 minutes along with pranayama.

ASTRINGENT—avoid or reduce astringent foods as they are drying—these include mainly beans, but also apples, pears, pomegranates, etc.; wind is drying unless especially humid and should be reduced;
