About Me:

Remember Murhpy's Law:  if anything can go wrong, it will?  That's how my life was until about 6 years ago. 

One day I just got fed up with not advancing.  My life was like that movie Groundhog's Day.  Same shyt different toilet. 

I worked for this school supply from 8am to 5pm Mon-Sat for about 2 years.  I quit for two reasons. 

The last straw was when for about two months straight everyday when I came to work there would be these chocolate gold coins.  Sometimes there would be 3 or 4 some days it would be 6 or 7.  I never thought anything of it I just thought the boss was a nice guy and he wanted us to get a little chocolate fix after lunch.  Then one day I got to work and there were 21 chocolate gold coins on my desk.  I thought someone was playing a joke on me.  Like maybe some azzho licked them and wrapped them back up for a dirty office prank and he was sitting across the room snickering and giggling just waiting for me to eat his adulterated chocolates.  As much as I loved those smooth, melt in yo mouth candies, wasn't no way I was gonna be somebody's afternoon highlight.  I peered over into the cubicle next to me and noticed that the old dude next to me had a lot of coins too.  So I asked him why we got some many coins.  He told me that each coin represented a million dollars that the company had made at closing the day before.  I was in shock.  I tried to recall all of the golden coins I had received.  I got dizzy just thinking of all those coins as millions of dollars.  Then I got pissed.  I was making $9 an hour at 9 hours a day.  $81 a day before taxes about $73 after.  I was making less than $100 a day and he was making millions.  I couldn't believe it and I was mad so I sat at my desk and played mah jong for the rest of the day.

The straw that broke the camel's back was when I got home from work that day and flopped down on the couch.  My baby girl was  playing with her toys on the floor by my computer.  I sat and watched her, noticed how big she was getting, thinking abut how time flies when your a corporate bych.  All of the sudden my baby girl who was almost a year old, but I felt like I just had her got up and walked over to me.  I was sooooooooo excited!!!!!  I started crying and yelling for my other children to come and see.  They all ran into the living room to see why I was so happy.  I said, "Look, she's walking all by herself!"  They was like, "mama she been walking.  We told you last month when you came home from work and you fell asleep on the couch." 

My tears of joy turned to tears of regret and sorrow.  I had missed my baby girl's first steps pimpin' myself for pennies at Lakeshore Learning Materials (oops, did I say that out loud?) while they made millions on the daily. 

I decided that my family was worth more to me than $73 a day I just had to make more time to pay attenion to, read stories to, help them with their homework, take them to the movies, Chuck E Cheese, and the library, tuck them in, wake them up, mold them, teach them, guide them, and spend time with my children. 

I quit the next day.

About a month ago my life was set ablaze by Vincent Hunt, a childhood friend of mine.  He spits HOT FIRE!!!!!  His focus is on Human Advancement-google him only if you want to find out how to get more out of life and find your true purpose.

During one of our conversations he asked me to define myself.  He challenged me to answer the question Who Am I?  All alone in the quiet of my room I pondered this question and thought.....

I am a motivator, a risk taker, a change maker, a cycle breaker, and an innovator.  Let T upgrade ya!

I believe I can relieve the grieve you concieved when you wore your heart on your sleeve.  If yo man ain't treatin' you right I can help you gain the courage to leave.  It's my job to help you receive all the blessings you can achieve.  I stop people from slitting their wrists.  Underachieveing is dismissed and I help you see that good people still do exist.  People's lives I untwist because I insist that they keep a checklist that consists of goals that they wish they could kiss.  With my follow-up program I continue to assist because I am an Achieveologist.

Like many of us I didn't grow up in a very loving and nurturing home.  It was every man for himself for as long as I can remember.  One thing that kept me sane and entertained was reading.  One of the first books I can remember was the Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman that book open my eyes to what it really meant to be 'enveloped' in a story.  I had to be around 9.  For years I read Judy Blume, Beverly Clearly, and Shiel Silverstein (one of my faves).  

I got turned out after I read a book called Trick Baby by Iceberg Slim and another called Dopefiend by Donald Goines.  I was a stone cold junkie!  I checked into rehab and read Rainbow Jordan, Motown and Didi, and For Coloured Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf.  Then somebody slipped me Black Girl Lost and I was hooked and strung out again.  I read every book Donald Goines wrote.  All 16 of them.  White Man's Justice, Black Man's Grief was a definite eye opener for me.  That novel reinforced the already known fact that I was not or ever will be a canidate of incarceration.  By the age of 18 I had graduated Magna Cum Laude from the School of Hard Knocks, was well traveled, andhad plenty of game.  Little did I know back then that all of my underworld social skills would enable me to survive on the mean streets of Los Scandelous, California.

A few years ago I discovered that the ultimate nature of my being is to achieve.

If you came to this article hoping for me to reveal some brand new, cutting edge, top secret exercise that will magically turn you into a barrel chested stud over night then I’m afraid you’re in for some severe disappointment. The truth is that the most effective movements for building an impressive chest are also some of the oldest and most basic in the bodybuilding cannon. You’re not going to find anything fancy; no machines or Swiss ball variations. What you are going to find are the most effective exercises for building a massive chest and if you commit to stepping away from the pec dec and the cables and going back to basics, I guarantee you will see impressive results.

The Top 5 Chest Exercises:

1) Bench Press

If you’re looking to add size to your chest, press movements need to be the foundation of your training; there is simply no getting around it. The bench press is as meat and potatoes it gets in terms of exercises but it is also the most effective overall movement for adding muscle mass to your chest.

Variation: Flat Dumbbell Press

The dumbbell variation is mechanically very similar except it will recruit more stabilizer muscles to help balance the weight. Both exercises are very effective and can be substituted for each other to add variety to your training routine.

2) Incline Bench Press

A variation on the flat bench press; the incline press will target the upper portion of the chest, as well as the anterior deltoids (the front portion of your shoulder).

Variation: Incline Dumbbell Press

As with the flat dumbbell press, the incline dumbbell variation is mechanically very similar to its barbell counterpart but will again recruit more stabilizer muscles to help balance the weights.

3) Dips

Use your own bodyweight as resistance until you are able to complete over twelve reps with proper form; after that begin adding additional weight in order to make the movement even more effective as a mass builder.

4) Dumbbell Pullover

This exercise develops the entire chest and also works the triceps muscles and back muscles as well. This is another old school move that is rarely used in the gym but is much more effective then any machine.

5) Dumbbell Flies

Flies are an isolation exercise and should therefore be done at the end of your training session. While not as effective a mass builder as presses and dips, flies do have their place as they are great for finishing off the muscle at the end of a session and adding detail and definition as well.

Conclusion

That’s it, nothing fancy or ground breaking, but it’s amazing how many times I see guys at the gym spending their entire workout using the cables machines. If you want to build a big chest you have to use big moves. The cable crossover does not qualify as a big move. Next time you’re at the gym find a guy with a big chest and watch what he does. I guarantee you’ll see him do most if not all of the moves shown above. If you want to build a large and impressive chest leave the machines and the cables to the skinny frat boys and head over to the grown up section of the gym and start moving some iron.

Although no one seems to have taken advantage of it, a bug existed with RIM's BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) which would have allowed hackers to gain access to the companies network by means of a malicious PDF file.

No normal person I know likes to lose, especially when they believe or know strongly that they are right. But too many times, some of us win many, many battles in life but end up as losers.

We sometimes achieve our revenge, but end-up having more enemies than before. We work hard for the money and financial security and sometimes end-up with new troubles or even problems that the wealth cannot solve. We know, realistically, that this not always the case. But too many times it is.

To win in life comes in many ways. World political leaders often win an election or have the support of the military/police to sustain their power. Academics will research and find new cures for many diseases, and so on. Sports and entertainment “stars” will achieve success, but still end-up with more problems than before.

But in Biblical terms, losing will come if and when we are rejected by the Creator in the End of our days/lives. So even if we make it rich, famous, powerful, and so on in this life, if we are not preparing to win in the end we will only lose – and be losers. Easy to say and write, but very, very hard to achieve. However, some will say it is not so hard to achieve at all.

I am yet to meet someone who says being a Believer is easy. They will say they prefer to be or enjoy being one, but I have never heard anyone saying it was easy. Nevertheless, they continue because they do not want to end up losing in the end, while they win in this life (or appears to be winning).

How do we ensure that we will win in the end is not easy either. Of all the Bishops, Revs, Pastors, Evangelists, Missionaries, and so on that I have know, met or read about, none of them who have passed-on from this life, have been to heaven and returned to admonish us to continue in the path they took to make it there as well. We just have to trust God, the Bible as the True Word of God and live our lives as a way of life, not merely a religion. Others will have more detailed instructions or advice. But when we all look at our lives as Believers, the Bible is at the center and is the reason why we do what we do to end-up as winners in the end – we all hope.

The following morning, even before I have shaken off my drowsiness from previous night's late bedtime, when I opened my mailbox, an email from The Chinaman George Mamonluk was already waiting for me. George must have slept later than I did, judging from the prompt email and the attached pictures he sent to share with our readers of this blog.

The moment he smiled when I told him I liked his lyrics I knew I had it in the bag! When he said he enjoyed my company when we did nothing... this boy, no this man has the hots for me! I love this so much. this feeling of floating in the clouds...
in the clouds?  isnt it foggy?  is my vision blurred? whatever. i like the feeling.

I find myself longing to be in the prescience of this Fawson man.  I don't  know why a man with such insecurities has made my heart light and i must say, i pray he sees my heart and understands my character.  I lust for his attention but desire his heart.  it's oftly peculiar!

these days have gone by so quickly yet they always go by in slow motion! my almost desire with a man of royalty and the final farewell to a Kristian boy has me wondering if I'll ever get to keep the good ones.  I despise this regiment of constant goodbyes and and tears that make the deepest muscles soar.

I thought I was over the anti-charismatic, neo-voodoo scare, but in fact my concern has only increased with out bursts of random dry tears and melodramatic poems which i WILL NOT ever post... they are too depressing.
