चोरी करने वाला भी कोई ऐरा गैरा नहीं है। चोरी करने वाले साहब अपने को रवि बहार कहते हैं और पेशे से अपने को कॉलेज अध्यापक, पत्रकार और लेखक बताते हैं, यानि कि ऊँचे दर्जे के चोर हैं। :roll:

जब एक अध्यापक जो कि पत्रकार भी हो और लेखक भी तथा वह आपका माल चोरी करे तो आपका सीना गर्व से नहीं फूलेगा? मेरा सीना गर्व से तो नहीं फूला खैर लेकिन तरस अवश्य आया इन साहब पर। लगता है कि ये लेखक चोरी करके ही बने हैं, दूसरों की रचनाओं को बिना अनुमति के चुरा कर अपने नाम से छापने वाले लेखक हैं!! :roll: और अपने विद्यार्थियों को क्या पढ़ाते होंगे? शायद दूसरों का माल कैसे चोरी किया जाता है और उसको कैसे अपने नाम से आगे बेचा जाता है!! तौबा.....!!

आप भी देख लें कि इस हाई-फाई चोर लेखक ने कहीं आपकी पोस्ट आदि भी तो नहीं चुरा ली!!

अपडेट (2008-02-04): अभी देखने पर पता चला है कि इन साहब ने अपने उक्त ब्लॉग पर चोरी कर छापी गई मेरी पोस्ट तो हटा ही दी है और साथ ही उस ब्लॉग पर से तमाम अन्य पोस्ट भी हटा दी हैं।

સાવધાન! ગુજરાતી બ્લોગર મિત્રો!

ગુજરાતી નેટ જગત ત્વરાપૂર્વક વિસ્તરી રહ્યું છે.

આપના ગુજરાતી બ્લોગ્સ અન્ય મોટી સાઈટ્સની નજરે ચડવા લાગ્યા છે.

કેટલીક સાઈટ્સ તો આપના બ્લોગ્સને પ્રકાશિત કરવા લાગી છે. આપની માવજત પામેલી ગુજરાતી પોસ્ટ્સ અન્ય કોઈ કોપી કરી રહ્યું છે – સંક્ષિપ્તમાં નહીં, પૂર્ણ રૂપે.

આપની જાણ બહાર, આપની સંમતિ વિના, આપની પોસ્ટ વ્યાવસાયિક હેતુથી અન્ય જગ્યાએ કઈ રીતે પ્રકાશિત થાય?

કોઈકને આમાં કશું અજુગતું ન પણ લાગે. કોઈક આ વાતને હસી કાઢશે!

આ નાનકડી, નિર્દોષ જણાતી પ્રવૃત્તિ છે. પણ કાલે તેનાં શું પરિણામો હશે?

હું ટેકનોક્રેટ કે લીગલ એક્સપર્ટ નથી. આ મુદ્દાની ગંભીર અસરો હું પૂરી રીતે સમજી શકતો નથી. તેથી કશો નક્કર અભિપ્રાય કે સલાહ આપવાનો મને અધિકાર નથી.

પરંતુ મને એટલું તો જરૂર જણાય છે કે આ ઈચ્છનીય પ્રવૃત્તિ નથી અને કાલે ઊઠીને તે વકરી જશે!

મારો હેતુ ગુજરાતી નેટ જગતને સજાગ કરવાનો છે.

આજે આ ક્ષુલ્લક જણાતો મુદ્દો છે, કાલે બીજા મુદ્દા ઊઠશે.

ભલે નાનો પ્રશ્ન હોય, પણ આપણે સભાનપણે અવલોકીએ. એક થઈ યોગ્ય કદમ ઊઠાવીએ.

ગુજરાતી નેટ જગત સંગઠિત હશે તો આવા પ્રશ્નો પરત્વે જાગ્રતિ કેળવી શકાશે.

આપણી વાત વર્ડપ્રેસ અને બ્લોગસ્પોટ તો શું, ગુગલને પણ સાંભળવી પડે તેવી તાકાત આપણે કેળવવી પડશે.

મિત્રો! આપણે જાગીશું? આપણે એક થઈશું? આપણે એક રહીશું?

આપણે મહેનત કરીને આપણી પોસ્ટ્સ લખી છીએ, તૈયાર કરીએ છીએ, પ્રકાશિત કરીએ છીએ.

આજની તારીખમાં આપણા પૈકી ભાગ્યે જ કોઈનો હેતુ વ્યાવસાયિક પ્રકાશનનો છે.

શું આપણી પોસ્ટ્સ કોપી કરીને કોઈ તેને વ્યાવસાયિક ધોરણે પોતાના બ્લોગ્સ પર પ્રકાશિત કરી શકે?

જાગો, ગુજરાતી નેટ જગતના મિત્રો! જાગો!

આપની પોસ્ટ્સ બીજાના બ્લોગ્સ પર વ્યાવસાયિક હેતુથી મૂકાઈ રહી છે.

આપની જાણ બહાર ત્રાહિત વ્યક્તિઓ અંગત લાભ માટે તમારી પોસ્ટ્સનો દુરૂપયોગ કરી રહી છે.

આપની પોસ્ટ્સ બીજી સાઈટ્સ પર પણ વ્યાવસાયિક ધોરણે પ્રકાશિત થઈ રહી છે.

શરૂઆત નાના પાયે, દેખીતી રીતે નિર્દોષ લાગે છે. પણ તે વકરી જશે તો બહુ મોડું થઈ જશે!!! 

સાવધાન થઈ જાઓ! મિત્રો!

આપણે સૌએ જાગી જવાનો સમય આવી ગયો છે.

જાગો! નેટ પર ચાંપતી નજર રાખો!

સર્ચ એંજિન્સ પર નજર રાખો. શોધી કાઢો!

ગુજરાતી નેટ જગત પ્રત્યે આપણી જવાબદારી વધતી જાય છે.

Check out this very informative article on "splogs" - blogs that are automated to "scrape" (steal) content from genuine blogs for AdSense revenue. I've noticed a few of my other blogs that have been scraped, and it bugs me to no end that people are so desperate to make a quick buck that they'll go to these lengths to get it.

Here's a few things you can do to "combat" scraping:

1. Use internal linking within your blog posts. Why? Well, if another site is going to grab my content and use it for their shady benefit, than the least I can do is get some use out of it. When my content is scraped, it's reposted in it's entirety. Although, I get a linkback to this blog, I can add an additional step to KEEP people on my blog: add links to other posts INSIDE of each post. That way if someone happens to land on a scraped blog, reads my ever-so-interesting content and clicks a link in my post, they're transported from the splog, to the GENUINE  blog, MINE!
2. Use copyright notices in your feed or in each post. You can also grab a plugin that does this.

These simple steps make it harder for readers of splogs to miss the fact that the content they are reading comes from an actual blog, not just an automated script. They will be more likely to visit the source of the content and stay there.
