This is a Hindu temple for the Lord Surya (Sun) and its one of its kind on eth whole earth. As described in the Purans in Hindu Mythology this temple is built like a live replica of the Lord of Light and knowledge on his chariot driven by horses. It is said that Lord Vishnu after killing Demon Gayasur placed his Shankh at puri ( Shankhkshetra), Chakra at Bhubaneswar ( Chakrakshetra),Gada at Jajapur ( Gadakshetra) & Padma at Konark ( Padmakshetra).Hence Konark is also called as Padmakshetra. There is an ancient heard story about the construction of the temple. Someday i will describe that too. Now a days this is among the best tourist atraction in the state of Orissa,India for all anthropologists, tourists. For more information on the holy place please visit http://konark.nic.in.

It was the first day in office and he was very nervous to meet his new colleagues, boss & subordi

It was the first day in office and he was very nervous to meet his new colleagues, boss & subordinates in Delhi. The boss seemed a polite and professional man and a man of attitude but he managed to have the colleagues somewhat familiar to his last organization. He was looking for the ease to speak to somebody and get easy. Suddenly his cellphone rang and he was about to receive the call somebody form the far end shouted ” put the cell on vibrate or switch it off as this is not allowed to ring in Office premises”. He suddenly reacted to this and dropped that call to switch the cellphone to vibration mode. Even if he felt sorry for the incident he was upset by the present-day behavior of the employees. The whole day he spent doing all shut things as his mood was spoiled by the incident in the morning. But being in professional attitude he managed to spend a good day with his colleagues in understanding the nature of his work in the new organization. It was 6 o clock in the evening and was time to swipe out the access card and exit, he looked for help from the receptionist and came out of the office premises. He wanted to celebrate the first day in a new job and went to a bar nearby his residence. It was a good drink and a good dinner to end the day. In this fashion he spent the whole first week and the first week. But at the end of the month his boss told him that for that month he wont be getting his salary as his employee code has not been generated by the IT team. It was like a shock for him as he was running short of funds to handle his day to day expanses and with this answer his hopes were shattered and he was lost for a second and was finding people among his circle to borrow money. Neither on that evening he went to the bar nor had a good dinner. Instead visiting hotel he preferred to cook dinner for himself. Having few sips of coffee he thought what if he could withdraw PF from the 3 last companies this could be a good amount to the bad times….

The above issue may or may not rise many a times but as far as pf is concerned you all will be in the favour of having this sum ASAP. But these days when people are changing their jobs very often they are leaving their pf in the pervious organizations. There could be many reasons for that ; lack of information about Pf, lack of information about withdrawing the same and lack of time could be the three main reasons for that. So being into HR this not being digested by me. SO for a lehman employee who doesn’t know about anything about PF here are few important things which could help him get the PF amount.

· Please take a note that PF is elaborated as Provident fund and this is mandatory for each and every employer to pay ( Please refer www.epfindia.com for the eligibility ).

· 12 % of your basic salary is deducted every month as Employee contribution to the provident fund ahd your company put its contribution of the same 12% of your basic salary and the whole amount is deposited in govt account under your pf number and govt provides a fixed annual intrest on the amount.

· Please take a note that out of the 12% deducted only 3.67% goes to the Pf fund and the rest 8.33 % goes to the pension fund.

· The most important thing is that if any employee is less then 6 months old in any organization he is not eligible to withdraw Pension from the Pension fund ( 8.33%).So don’t worry if your pf amount is lesser than what you were expecting as pf is only 3.67% pf the basic.

· After 40days of leaving any company an employee is eligible to apply for the pf amount.

Now you have two option. First to withdraw the PF amount and second teo transfer the PF amount to your present company's PF account.

TO WITHDRAW PF

· To withdraw pf & pension one needs to fill up two forms ; form 19 & form 10C both can be downloaded from the url www.epfindia.com

· Please fill up the form and please don’t forget to affix revenue stamp (you will get in Post office across India) and sign on the stamp itself.

· There are options to receive the pf amount. As per my response is concerned payment through account payee cheque is the safest mode to receive the money. Please put a tick mark on the right option to receive the amount through Account payee cheque.

· If you select to receive the amount through cheque then you need to put the corect mailing address of the branch with pin code.

· After filling up the form you need to submit the forms along with your recent bank statement( If private bank & copy of passbook if a nationalized govt bank) in the last organization Hr department. Once its done then its the Hr department of your last company and the PF office to work on it. If everything goes in normal routine you pf amount will be in your account within 15days.

TO TRANSFER PF

To transfer the PF amount to your existing pf account in the new company you need to download Form 13 fom www.epfindia.com then please fill it properly and send the same to your last organization and teh HR from the same office will fill his part in the form including your PF contribution and will send the same to the regional PF office. Now its the PF office who will trasfer the amount to your regional pf office which in turn will send teh same into your account.

I think I have put all the basic information. If something else required then please let me know.

Got to Finish the project report even if it means staying up at office all ni

Got to Finish the project report even if it means staying up at office all night? Well, your 24-hour coffee shop is there to prepare those cups of coffee to keep you going and light snacks in case you get hungry. No time to rush to the nearest supermarket to get bread and cheese for the next day's breakfast? No problem. Just walk into the Food World outlet at your campus before you head back home.

With a multitude of choice for food now available at campuses of IT companies, it is not surprising that 'this-food's-unpalatable' refrain is a rarity these days. Here's a sample. Infosys boasts of five food courts and a restaurant, Oracle (Bannerghatta Road branch) has a pantry on each floor and a centralised cafeteria, Perot Systems has a big multi-cuisine café, the list is endless. With the amount of time techies spend at their consoles, it is not surprising that HR teams do not fight shy of making available any number of cuisines at office canteens to cater to the varying palates.

Chow Chow Bhat for breakfast, sambhar and rice for lunch, dosa in the evening and dal-roti for dinner is no longer the routine these days.

While north and south Indian meals might be the staple fare, Chinese and Continental food, too, are quite popular. But the variety on offer doesn't stop with this. It's easy to grab a slice of garlic bread at a Dominoes or Pizza Corner outlet, have a cup of boiled American sweet corn, down an almond Frappe at Café Coffee Day, gorge on a Baskin Robbins' triple sundae, drink a healthy glass of grape juice at Juice Junction or have a filling subway just when your stomach starts to grumble and all right within your campus.

IT companies don't mind offering the best that's available if it translates into satisfied employees. Infosys VP and HR head Bikramjit Maitra says: "All our development centres have facilities like multiple food courts, libraries, training centres, health clubs, convenience stores etc, which meets all the requirements of employees. The variety of cuisines available at the campus and the disparate price points allow for all employees of Infosys, Indian and expats, to come together and have a good meal at whatever time of the day."

There's lots on offer even for those worrying about their waistlines. Most IT companies have one, if not multiple, fruit juice counters at their office. Many are ready to go that extra mile to keep their health conscious staffers happy. The Perot Systems café has special diet sandwiches made of whole wheat bread, sans cheese. Another IT company boasts of having stalls where you can get crunchy veg and fruit salads.

And it extends beyond eating at Perot Systems. "Our café is the centre for cultural programmes. Competitions are held on the terrace which also houses the open-air cafeteria. So, everyone who comes to the cafe to grab a bite gets involved in the activity taking place," says Perot Systems senior director (corporate communications) Sunita Budhiraja.

Talking of terrace cafeterias, companies also try to create a relaxing and informal atmosphere in their food courts and canteens . Open air roof-top , surrounded by greenery (potted plants in multi-storey buildings), funky interiors and good music seem to be some typical features of IT food courts. An employee of Oracle says: "Our office (Bannerghatta Road branch) has a pantry on each floor and a centralised cafeteria . The seating is informal and they play good music. The interiors are quite good." One of Infy's food courts is, in fact, modelled after the Sydney Opera house while another is inspired by a space ship. Their campus houses a restaurant called Le Terrace managed by a French chef.

There are some innovative and fun options to choose from too. One of the IT biggies even has a Pizza Corner van at its campus that has everything you'd expect to find at a regular outlet. An employee from the company says: "The Pizza Corner van is parked right outside the food court and is a big hit, especially with the BPO guys. The stuff is neatly packed in cardboard boxes, so it's easy to carry it to the desk and eat it even while working."

Then there's departmental chain Nilgiris which sets up counters at the Oracle office twice or thrice a month and sells bakery items like pastries, biscuits and bread. The counter seems to be doing a good job and has many takers. Sodexo coupons, too, seem to be doing brisk business, what with many IT firms offering coupons to their employees every month. It's all a question of creating the right ambience and convenience. And IT companies have quite achieved that.

Being into my kind of profession wherein you need to handle different ob positions you need to recog

Being into my kind of profession wherein you need to handle different ob positions you need to recognize the changes. I remember in my time in College we were expecting a career where in the companies were much serious about the kind of recruitment and the quality of the candidates. in late nineties ad early 20s the corporate world were looking for the exact skill set in a candidate to use them in their corporate needs. They were in a mood to recruit quality people and employ them with scrutiny to handle key positions. Earlier HR in corporate People were stringent and were looking for expertise people and for a more specific skill set in candidates. Educational qualification and the fundamental thing were of more importance in the recruitment process. Accordingly the candidates were so conscious. But the changes in the World Economy and its impact on Indian part has made a drastic changes in the corporate world. Now the opportunities are so ample that the infrastructure in hardly satisfying the need. A survey by the Govt of India (I am not sure of the Department or Ministry) says that the current growth rate of the Indian Economy which is according to that of a developing country (8.8 per cent in the four fiscal years ,2003-04 to 2006-07, with the 2006-07 growth rate of 9.6 per cent being the highest in the last 18 years) if it continues to grow in such a manner then in next few years India will be falling short in terms of Infrastructure, Skilled manpower, Energy needs and many other areas. So when you are in a Developing stage this kind of news is really discouraging and you need to gear up to face the challenge. The present day situation is showing such an image wherein corporate people have changed their attitude. now Employers are paying high salaries to their employees as compared to what they were paying 5 or 7 years back. Now Employers are focusing on Hr Aspects like Employee Relations, Collective Bargaining, Employee Welfare and Employee Engagement. These aspects are more looking towards making their Employers satisfied in the organization. Now Employers are not looking for new people to recruit. They are now willing to satisfy the existing manpower and make then an asset for the company. They know that they have got many constraints before them like the availability of the Skilled manpower, the recruitment cost, the training cost and the transition time. All these constraints were already there but the challenge today is the availability of the skilled manpower and the rising Recruitment cost. Now there are two ways to handle the situation. Either to go with the current scenario to bear the recruitment cost and other trends. Else you can retain your existing Employees and understand their needs and satisfy them to keep yourself love in the race .In both the cases you need to be Employee centric as the trend is changing and people are driven by the factors like High Salaries, perks and other benefits which in present days are being a point of attraction for employees. But Employers are being very much Employee centric and looking forward for their concerns. Whatever may be the issue for Employers but definitely the youth is mcuh excited and pulling their socks to gear up with the situation.

I have always been Sharing the different aspects of the hindu festivals and their importance in life. I know its really all a case of putting all those things into picture which is muss less in importance but i think we need to have a close eye these traditional festivals. Where we indian have started to observe festivals like Valentie's day, mother's day, Rose day and n number of other festivals then why cant we celebrate our very own traditional festivals. Please don't consider me as one of the Bajrang dal or Vishwa hindu Parishad Member... I am a pure normal man ( as i think those are abnormal people). To describe this time i have BRATOPAYAN, the title of the post. This is a very old and essential occasion in all brahmins in Hinduism. Its More a narrow Caste festival of only brahmins and few more related castes. This festival is Followed by these cases from the ancient ARYA Times. The aryans were having four phases in their life. BALYASTHA,BRAMHACHAYA,GRAHYASTHA,BANAPRASTHA. The first phase is birth till 14 yrs as the baby needs love and care of Parents and Family members. From 14 th yr to 25 its called as brahacharya where he is supposed to learn all vedas, purans and all teh knowledge and skill sets which makes him prepared for the future. from 25 to 50 years he lives as grahyastha by marrying a girl and observes the duties and responsibilities of an Ideal Husband and a family man. After 50ears he retires himself from the family life and goes to the jungle and spends the rest of his time by praying all holy books and concentrating on the lord in all forms of mythological ways. The occasion i am going to describe is " BRATOPAYAN". This is to remark the occasion when one child is made to take oth to deliberately learn each and every aspect of a bachelor life,to learn from the Veda's , purans and the shastras to learn the art to live life like a saint. This is called BRATOPAAN where in be keeping the panchatatya and das Dishayen as witness the child is asked to take oath to play the role of a bramhacharya. On the occaision the young child is asked to lean teh art of Begging as during the period of BRAMHACHARYA this is the only way he is left with to earn his fooding and the rest of the time he is asked to read the shastrs , vedas and purans... a pandit is asked to do the proceedings and he is been asked to start begging from his family members. The guys maternal Uncle plays a vial role in this occasion. Here in an occasion a waterfull Pot is put with Mango Leaves and one side the guys uncle stands and the other side is set free with few distance form the guy. So there remains two ways if he goes to his uncle then he gets an option to spend his life as BALYASTHA,BRAMHACHAYA,GRAHYASTHA,BANAPRASTHA and if he goes the other way then he has to spend his whole life as a SANYASI...

Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is the contracting of a specific business task, such as payrol

Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is the contracting of a specific business task, such as payroll, to a third-party service provider. Usually, BPO is implemented as a cost-saving measure for tasks that a company requires but does not depend upon to maintain its position in the marketplace. BPO is often divided into two categories: back office outsourcing, which includes internal business functions such as billing or purchasing, and front office outsourcing, which includes customer-related services such as marketing or tech support.BPO that is contracted outside a company's own country is sometimes called offshore outsourcing. BPO that is contracted to a company's neighboring country is sometimes called nearshore outsourcing, and BPO that is contracted within the company's own country is sometimes called onshore outsourcing. The most common examples of BPO are call centers, human resources, accounting and payroll outsourcing.Use of a BPO as opposed to an application service provider (ASP) usually also means that a certain amount of risk is transferred to the company that is running the process elements on behalf of the outsourcer. BPO includes the software, the process management, and the people to operate the service, while a typical ASP model includes only the provision of access to functionalities and features provided or 'served up' through the use of software, usually via web browser to the customer. BPO is a part of the Outsourcing Industry. It is dependent on Information Technology, hence it is also referred to as Information Technology Enabled Services or ITES. Knowledge Process Outsourcing, or Legal Process Outsourcing are some of the sub sets of Business Process Outsourcing.Industry Size India has revenues of 6.4 billion USD[2] from offshore BPO and 36 billion USD from IT and total BPO. India thus has some 5-6 % share of the total BPO Industry, but a commanding 63% share of the offshore component. This 63% is a drop from the 70% offshore share that India enjoyed last year, despite the industry growing 38% in India last year, other locations like South Africa, Philippines and Eastern Europe have emerged to take a share of the market. China too is trying to grow from a very small base in this industry, though the industry is expected to continue to grow in India. Its market share of the offshore piece is expected to reduce.
Business process outsourcing (BPO) is a broad term referring to outsourcing in all fields. A BPO differentiates itself by either putting in new technology or applying existing technology in a new way to improve a process.
Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is the delegation of one or more IT-intensive business processes to an external provider that in turn owns, administers and manages the selected process based on defined and measurable performance criteria. Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is one of the fastest growing segments of the Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) industry.
Few of the motivation factors as to why BPO is gaining ground are:
- Factor Cost Advantage
- Economy of Scale
-Business Risk Mitigation
-Superior Competency
-Utilization Improvement
Generally outsourcing can be defined as - An organization entering into a contract with another organization to operate and manage one or more of its business processes.

Challenges for a HR Professional in BPO
Brand equity: People still consider BPO to be "low brow", thus making it difficult to attract the best talent.

Standard pre-job training: Again, due to the wide variety of the jobs, lack of general clarity on skill sets, etc, there is no standard curriculum, which could be designed and followed.

Benchmarks: There are hardly any benchmarks for compensation and benefits, performance or HR policies. Everyone is charting their own course.

Customer-companies tend to demand better results from outsourcing partners than what they could actually expect from their own departments. "When the job is being done 10,000 miles away, demands on parameters such as quality, turn around timeliness, information security, business continuity and disaster recovery, etc, are far higher than at home. So, how to be more efficient than the original?

Lack of focused training and certifications
Given this background, the recruiting and compensation challenges of HR departments are only understandable.
Key To success
The key to success in ramping up talent in a BPO environment is a rapid training module. The training component has to be seen as an important sub-process, requiring constant re-engineering.
Paid Days Off
Maternity Leave
Employee Stock Option Plan
Inspite of all these benefits, the attrition rate in BPO industry is very high, why?. What is the reason for an employee to leave? These and many more are the questions that need immediate attention from the industrial gurus.
Why people prefer to join BPO's?
In general a person with any graduation can join any of the BPO. Some BPO's like to take people with MBA but then again the specialization are of an individual hardly makes any difference. Again, this is the industry, where there is no reference checks and very often people don't even specify there exact age. Lets me share with you some of the reasons as why people prefer to join a BPO:
Did not get a better job.
Find nothing better to do.
Education level doesn't matter
Good work environment
Good Benefits
Flexibility of time
Attractive life style
Transport facility
Why people leave the BPO's?
When there are so many benefits associated with BPO industry....when there are so many privileges for the BPO employees than what makes them to change the company/industry? ? Is it only MONEY that matters or anything else as well?? Here are some of the reasons for a BPO professional to change his/her job.
No growth opportunity/ lack of promotion
For higher Salary
For Higher education
Misguidance by the company
Policies and procedures are not conducive
No personal life
Physical strains
Uneasy relationship with peers or managers

the youth Prospective...

There are many a things about the BPO's which is much demanded among the prospective youth. But the lack of information is creating an illusion about the BPO's. Few cases wherein the CAB drivers ill deeds like kidnapping or Rape of a BPO Employee brings attention of the general public and this single bad news about the BPO's just harms teh good chap image of the BPO's in india.Still a higher percentage of youth who is looking for a career is avoiding BPO's and this happens because of lack of information. But the actual truth is different. They have reasons too for this. There can be issues like

the odd shift timing
Apart form the domestic processes wherein the indian customers are served the rest of teh BPO's serve te developed nations and global companies in US,UK,Australia etc.And as compared to the domestic BPO' the percentage of International BPO's is too high. The shift timings are generally odd in international BPO's. Manisha Solanki, who worked in TELEPERFORMANCE which supports a firm's Uk customers for Internet Broadband Support left her job because of the reason that she had a shift timing which started at 2.00 am upto 12 noon. Shift timings becomes the main obstacle for Girls and people who are having part time courses or people who are in the sam eindustry for more then 2 years and for people whoe are plaaning to get married.

Physical inability
there are lot many issues wherein peple working in BPO's that to night shifts get affected by soem psychic diseases lke dizziness, continuos headache, loss of weight, irregullar diet issues, low eyeside etc...

External threat
Like the cab drivers inhuman acts like molestation, rape, loot etc... this is the biggest concern for the call center management as this is the case wherein people are getting away from them.

there are other issues as well which forbids parents and prospective applicants to get away from BPO's.

Tuesday, April 15, 2008

This is the Indian premier League into action these days... This is a kind of rivalry to the Subhash Chandra owned earning body Indian Cricket League & Indian Premiere League ( Backed By BCCI). You all noticed the so called confusion and rivalry between the two governing bodies for Cricket in India. Primarily it was a clash between Kapil Dev, the world cup winning captain and BCCI (Board of Cricket control in India)which led the ace cricketer t get away from BCCI and with in couple of Months with help of the Media king Mr Subhash Chandra Who owns the Zee network,Kapillunched the Indian premier league. He announced the opening of a new era in Cricket.he mainly focused the new discovery in the cricketing world the T 20.The main motto to get this kind of schedule rather than the traditional 50 over one day match or the 5 day long test cricket was to attract the general public and to attract the huge cricket players in India. He took cricket to the regional level and to the town level where players from small town and with good cricketing talent.Subhas and Kapil'st 20 has everything; the wide media coverage, few good players from international set up, all the ingredient like the live band and dancers, the crackers and the music ... but still its lacking the key thing that is the attraction of the general public. The Court case related to the issue of using the indian tag for ICL and the objection of BCCI was a hot topic in teh country. When ICL opted to name it as the Indian team and BCCI 's Objection to it.Where the court verdict is still not clear boththe parties are enjoying the pride to be the National team but ICL has added its names as icl INDIA,icL PAKISTAN Like this. But ICL has paid a huge price as an enmity to BCCI. BCCI has announced that any player who is associated in anyway with the ICl wont be considered for selection into the national team for INDIA. No cricketing body or club is allowed to be associated with the ICl and if they do this they will be enjoying the harsh Action of BCCI. No Cricket association is allowing its stadium to arrange the ICL matches. After being thrashed by BCCI the icl has managed to get the TAO DEVILAL STADIUM for its matches and only limited players of international name and fame has associated themselves with the ICL. Now as a final stage to curtail the ICL BCCI has now lunched Indian Premier League which is starting in a day or two wherein 10 teams each representing an Indian City. It s the same format of 20 overs of thrilling cricket. This has became a very popular format of cricket where in people enjoy cricket of limited overs and the charm of this IPL is that it has been sold out through an auction where in biggies in Business and Bollywood has got into aces of this auction. Now wherein Shah rukh has got the Kolkatta team and has named it as Kolkatta night riders, priti zinta & nes wadia has got the Punjab kings team.to compete Vijay mallya has got the Karnataka team and the mumbai Indians in the field as well. Its the heartthrob Akshya Kumar as the brand ambassador for Our Delhi team (Delhi Daredevils). It has got a huge media hype and the local fever to cricket is rising day by day. With only a day left fot htis IPL to begin teh fever of the regional cricket is riding with high spirit among the fans. BCCi now leaves no stone unturned to get icl out of the mind of people where in ICl sees this as a big threat to ICl. Moreover its in news that Kapil dev the World cup winning captain for india may be left out of the forthcoming Silver jubilee celebration as a result of his leading the ICL. I dont have an idea where the clash between the two cricketing bodies will lead to but one thing is sure that we will be getting good cricket to watch and there is always an opportunity for the young players to come up and show their talent and it may prove a better plat from for cricket in India.

Here i come with my most favorite game, the game of football and the how can i forget the Soccer God, Diego Armando Maradona.I am a huge fan of the god and i love to see him rolling the ball and the numerous goals he made. Being from the east coast of India i am a huge fan of Soccer and i played a lot of football during my school and college days. Being a big fan of the god i loved to see his recordings and every news of the legend.

I remember we used to see recordings of the legend and tried to copy his dribbling style and every move of the legend in our play. But the god is so versatile and so talented that we could not get ourselves focused on any particular area of improvement. But we loved to do so as we loved the game of Soccer and the soccer god.I remember badamama as usual a good player and a great admirer of the legent followed him.And while he was on field he used to get the great love for his game and his tricks which somehow resembled the legendary god. He used to fight for the jersey number 10 and loved to wear it.He played a lot of football and even represented his university for the game and managed to win few of the games. I was in 10th standard and he was in his Law classes then when the fever of soccer ruled our mind and body. He used to play from a local club as well which is a popular club in my place and i loved to see him play and shoot goals as a striker. Our love for the game, the number 10 Argentine jersey was a favorite among the then crowd. Even today i have a ball and intense love for the game and i usually find time and place to get addicted to the game of soccer but to my bad luck i hardly get my desire satisfied.

It was mid of January when my company people wanted me to recruit a number of 6 people to start a batch for the call center. I being in Recruitment and Hr for the last 3 years was not much

excited to recruit as this was like a day to day activity for me. I started tracking candidates for the same. Got One campus interview to a local Hardware training institute (My company is into hardware business and require Tech support executive for the call center) . It was Jetking info train where i did the campus interview. I got only one guy from there as i looked for very polished and good communication skills candidates. I got the rest from one of the job portal familiar in India. The thing i noticed this time is that comparatively my selection rate is decreasing and this has become a trend in me. I remember the last batch i had recruited it was of 7 people and i had to look out for more then 35 people to get the required number. Again to get 35 people short listed for the interview i would have had telephonic contestation with more then 60 eligible candidates available through different sources and the last to last batch the hunt was much larger. I have noticed that the hit rate or selection rate has gone down as i have become more experienced in recruitment. There could be different reasons for that but what i find is that the issue is that i have become choosy in recruitment and i have recruited better people for the same positions. So its looking for an improvement in me for me as far as my Recruiting skills are concerned. So its very useful but the thing is that i have specialized in recruitment. In turn if i see this from other direction with introspection I feel that i have got a great reason for the same. Now I am getting the basic things like educational qualification and other prerequisite things in a candidate but i am not getting the right kind of attitude within the candidate. This is a very useful ingredient for any position or a candidate to justify the right fit. In a time span of 3.5years i have done extensive recruitment where in i have hired approximately 400 people and would have spoken to thousands of people for telephonic round of interview. In this period i have taken more than 10000 interviews where the maximum positions i have hired for, were entry level and junior level positions. But my experience says that My point is shifting to qualitative things in a candidate rather then general features like educational qualification, past experience etc. And that is why its being very difficult for me to get the right kind of attitude in place for a job position. But the moment i get the same, i go beyond boundaries to get the guy on the required desk. But i have taken this into count that i am not crossing my limits nor the cost effectiveness and the prerequisite things. Will there be any issue in my recruitment or the change in mindset will be beneficial for me, i need to wait & watch....

Today is Valentines day.But the importance of the day is lesser this time as nobody is there this time to wish or celebrate the day.Anyhow when i was travelling to office today i was wondering why the day is celebrted and even i aasked couple of people about the same. But nobody was able to answer the same question... on radio i got to know the answer. Some emperor was there in Greece or some country (I am not sure) who did not allow his army men to get married but there was a priest Namely Valentine, who got the army men married without informing the emperor. Later on with due course of time people started celebrating the day as valentine's day referering the day as the day of love and eternalness...
By the way
HAPPY VALENTINE"S DAY
May your valentine find you in every case and momment today...

this might be a word from the HR desk but it really a meaningful and a vital aspect in present day corporate world. This in turn decides a very USP ( Unique Selling Point ) for attracting new manpower and to retain the existing manpower in any organization. Now today when the upcoming challenges in the corporate world with the entries of the Multinational companies in India every company is trying to get itself suited and want to be a preferredEmployer for the Employees. Today when a private company is offering perks like Lunch facility, Cab facility and n number of other things to attract the employees and to make a a little contribution , the managememt has now changed into an open house culture wherein the management is there to welocome the employee feedback and want to have a clarity on the reasons for Employee dissatisfaction issues. Management in these companies has changed its look over a decade from a close hose cabins to a cubical system where in manager is welcoming employees to approach him and let him know the real life problems in the work areas. Now a manager is concerned about the emplyees birthday, anniversary along with the workload on him.He is looking forward to help him in his ways to get the targets. A small present and a evening part on the birthday of the Employee keeps te employee attached to the company. And there are 100 other areas wherein the company is trying to creat a soft poit for the itself and get its advantage to handle he corporate issues. The conclusion is that the companies want to be among the front runner and And these private companies are still looking forward to change the work culture to suit to the Employee needs to achieve the corporate goal. Wherein the PSU'sand the Govt undertaking and fully government organizations are still following the same old work culture.Even if they are having a job security and a hell lot of other benefits the inspiring youth is looking forward to the private companies as their future stepping stone. you ask a guy in today's time that where he want to go, then every inspiring guy will tell you a different storey where private players are well in picture. So where in the next 10 years the economy is demanding a great change and improvement in infrastructure in terms of education and human resource the govt will surely has to keep an eye on the changing world and act accordingly otherwise the date is not so late that the charm of looking for a govt job in the youth will go vanished...

Being into my kind of profession wherein you need to handle different job positions you n

Being into my kind of profession wherein you need to handle different job positions you need to recognize the changes.

I have always been Sharing the different aspects of the Hindu festivals and their importance in life

Please don't consider me as one of teh Bajrang dal or Vishwa hindu Parishad Member... From 14 th yr to 25 its called as brahacharya where he is suppposed to learn all vedas, purans and all theknowledge and skill sets which makes him prepared for the future. from 25 to 50 years he lives as grahyastha by marrying a girl and observes the duties and responsibilities of an Ideal Husband and a family man. After 50ears he retires himself from the family life and goes to the jungle and spends the rest of his time by praying all holy books and concentrating on the lord in all forms of mythological ways. The occasion i am going to describe is " BRATOPAYAN". This is to remark the occasion when one child is made to take oath to deliberately learn each and every aspect of a bachelor life,to learn from the Veda's , purans and the shastras to learn the art to live life like a saint. This is called BRATOPAAN where in be keeping the panchatatya and das Dishayen as witness the child is aked to take oth to play the role of a bramhacharya. On the occasion the young child is asked to lean teh art of Begging as during the periodof BRAMHACHARYAthis is the only way he is left with to earn his fooding and the rest of the time he is asked to read the shastrs , vedas and purans... a pandit is asked to do the proceedings and he is been asked to start begging from his family members. The guys maternal Uncle plays a vial role in this occasion. Here in an occasion a water fullPot is put with Mango Leaves and one side the guys uncle stands and the other side is set free with few distance form the guy. So there remains two ways if he goes to his uncle then he gets an option to spend his life as BALYASTHA,BRAMHACHAYA,GRAHYASTHA,BANAPRASTHA and if he goes the other way then he has to spend his whole life as a SANYASI...

Primarily it was said that the media that the death toll is a mere thousand people but the second day i heard it to be 22000 and now today morning the news is that the death toll may rise to one lakh and the missing number is totally unimaginable. Horrified by the news and the predictions i was little distracted. While surfing the net casually just clicked on the next blog on Blogspot.com and it was a blog wherein the blog was full of snaps and news from the cyclone victims and the affected ares. My heart was somewhat dull on this very morning. Wherein the Delhi Meteorological department is claiming that it has warned the myanmar govt about the forthcoming cyclone hit the negligence to IT is suffered by the common people. The international community is rushing aids to help the victims and everybody is looking towards the common people to soon recover and be in the mainstream to life but it may take time...
