डां लुक डी शिफ़र क्लासिकल होम्योपैथी प्रैकिटिस करने वाले होम्योपैथिक चिकित्सकों के लिये कोई अनजान शख्सियत नही हैं । होम्योपैथी की पथरीली डगर मे मे जब अनजान , किंकर्तवमूढ होम्योपैथिक चिकित्सक जब प्रोफ़ेशनल राय के लिये चारों तरफ़ देखता है तो उसे लुक से अच्छा और बेहतर साथी नजर नही आ सकता । लुक ने आर्गेनान के पाँचवे और विशेष कर छ्ठे edition मे बताये प्रिसक्राइबिगं के तरीकों को क्लीनिकल प्रैकिटिस मे सफ़लता के साथ प्रयोग किये । छ्ठे edition के बारे मे मै विशेष रुप से उल्लेख करना चाहूगाँ जिसका प्रयोग हमारे देश मे बहुत कम ही चिकित्सक करते हैं । हैनिमैन की मृत्यु के काफ़ी साल के बाद छ्ठा edition बोरिक और टैफ़ल द्वारा सन 1920 में लाया गया और इसमे हैनिमैन ने पाँचवे edition तक बताये अपने सारे तरीकों को एक सिरे से खारिज करते हुये LM पोटेन्सी की वकालत की। लुक ने LM पोटेन्सी से निकाले अपने सफ़ल परिणामों को अपनी पुस्तक , " Hahnemann revisited " मे रखकर अन्य चिकित्सकों के लिये प्रेरणा स्त्रोत का काम किया ।
