i called for an urgent meeting in the office today. first agenda is i apologized to all the staff for their delayed salaries. its only today that i can pay their wages which was delayed for about a week. there were some payments came in last week and once the cheque is cleared, i cleared all my hutangs to the staffs. boss punya gaji ?? errmmm rm200 cukup tak???

i also explain what are the business situations for the time beeing. as most already know that current market situation is a bit or rather too slow. i mentioned about the pak arabs company and how they've shown their interest to our small company neh.

i told them about my meeting with a client last saturday... yeah; all the staff were on leave on that day. the boss kerja you know! hehe. i was in meeting with one company in sungai buluh. apparently, their order is way behind schedule as they were some 30 million backlogs. they supply syringe to world market and somehow last year their orders suddenly surge and now they were 30million unit shortage. the management had decided to upgrade their production line and some process they will need to have automated processes. i spent the whole saturday morning discussed those things with their boss.

from the meeting, they decided to upgrade one station. a station which currently using 4 manpowers. they asked me to study those stage and advice/design them an automation machine that eliminate or reduce the manpower and they could speed up their output. in order to do that; i will have to spent two weeks in their factory to study and make proposals.....

yeah, every single day for two weeks i would be had to be there...  ( i wonder if there were nice sweet minah kilang there!!!! miahahahaha ~ provokasi neh). they will call for another meeting to discuss my charges for that two weeks. yerlooo; i cant do other things beside melayan they all maaah!

the thing is; i had to trust my staffs. i wont be around for that two particular weeks.....

it started with my son; he got fever and now semua dah berjangkit... all the siblings dah demam. the bibik pun demam... their mother pun dah demam neh... ayyoooo!!! alhamdulillah the bapak is still okeh. jadi misi, suap ubat hehehe

i was at HUKM this morning for some personal reasons ( maybe i'll blog about it one day if i rajin). was at their canteen; there were stalls selling nasi kerabu ~ upon seeing the colour of the nasi and the lauks and such, i decided not to take the chance; tak mau bazir duit. wise choice coz my partner for that day said the taste was horrible. i took nasi dagang that cost rm5 per plate.. their banner/bunting said original recipe from terengganu bla bla bla....

HORRIBLE also !!!!!

Kaspersky Lab, a Russian company based in Massachusetts recently announced that they found a virus on an Apple iPod. The company itself have a very few details and said that this virus would not be very harmful to the people using iPods. They even said that this virus will only be active on a linux installed iPods and will only affect if someone puts the file in the iPod disk first. The virus “Podloso” shows its existence when u first use your iPod. It asks user to install Linux in the disk and then scans the disk to infect all .elf files. If user tried to run these files it shows a message "You are infected with Oslo the first iPodLinux Virus."

According to Kaspersky Lab, the first virus Podloso which is designed to affect iPods is an early awareness to the Apple Company to take action on it and try to provide some security measures even though this virus does not pose any threat to an average people who owns iPod. If the user installs the virus then it installs itself to the folder containing demo version of the program.

Podloso is a proof of concept virus i.e. it just demonstrate that it is possible to infect a particular platform and don’t do any harm to the device. The people who created virus have successfully demonstrated that it is theoretically possible to create malicious programs for such devices, Kaspersky Labs reports. And now this is to people who use iPods believe that “iPods are not 100% safe”.

Well we will address both these issuses at this space. Now as The Previous Article on Spydawn states ,the Modus-Operandi of this rogue anti spyware program is as follows:

1)SMITFRAUD LEVEL:It somehow downloads certain Activex controls which actually install a software and access the system tray to display fake messages.It redirects you to a download site from where you can download the spyware.

2)ROGUE ANTI-SPYWARE: The spyware (eg: SPYDAWN )now gets installed on your PC .It is a Trojan and can be very dangerous if you retain confidential data on the PC.

Lets start with means to curb the First attack.

As bleepingcomputer.com says: "SmitFraud has become a term to mean an infection where fake security alerts appear in your taskbar stating that you are infected. These alerts tend to be accompanied by a rogue anti-spware program installed on your computer without your consent. Clicking on one of these fake security alerts will either bring you to a home page where you can purchase other fraudulent software or will install automatically, without your permission, one of these software".

How Do I Fix It???

Well the WorldWideWeb goes on hosting many removal programs.But God alone knows how many of them are real and how many are not.Dont use any of them as they might themselves be another forms of Smitfraud.

I list out a few softwares which I think are worth it
1)SMITFRAUDFIX :It has a Dos Based interface and Runs in Safe-Mode.It is a freeware.It is highy popular in the Web-Franchise.See what people say at 1, 2, 3,

2)SPYBOT :Well this is the Best In its field according to me.Even this is a freeware.It gets your PC rid of the malware most efficiently.I personally recommend this to you.

3) XOFTSPY :Impresive Software.The Official website hosts lot of information on latest viruses and spywares.It is not a freeware,costs $39.90.
Although I have used them succesively , and I recommend these softwares, the results might vary depending upon the configurations,operating systems etc.

Always keep a backup of the configurations( the last two have options for Backup).

Now the online websources seem to suggest something else to me. This software Spydawn is not an Anti-Virus Tools as it might seem to you at first sight.It is a virus which belongs to the Smitfraud Category of Trojans.Reported by bleeping computer as the latest one in its category,it is a Fake-AntiVirus program.

Modus Operandi: Well the basics are as follows.There are some (not all) online video-hosting websites which send you an error message that you need to download an activex control to be able to view that content.They redirect you to downloading these malwares(which pose as some usefull softwares).Once u download and install them,the show begins.Regular messages displayed on the system tray,unnecesarry redirection to the website are frequent. If you download this software,it acts like any normal anti-Virus tool.After scanning the system it reports VIRUSES installed on your PC which actually do not exist!!!

Some Suspicious Activities:
1) Well the first one would be that it scans the entire system(mine contains 3 hard disks) within a few seconds.
2) Always displays 28 viral-threats .

3) There are numerous messages diplayed by the system tray some of the being "Security Alert-Networm virus ","The virus attempts to steal passwords and private info","PC speed decreased by 47%,Internet speed decreased by 39%"
4)The system tray always diplays the same message ....does my Pc speed always gotta decrease by 47%....i mean cant it be 46.89% or something....or maybe some other figure...say 78%....grow up kid..................

Who makes these softwares I do not know,but one thing is sure...If you got spydawn on your Pc.....you gotta get moving Mac! Remove it as early as you can.The net has many SPYDAWN-removal tools you can use.....but you need to be alert....you never know ....maybe you end up installing another SPYDAWN on the pc!!!!How to remove SPYDAWN from your PC,How does the software access your system tray,How to stay secure .......well that makes up for another Article.....Keep checking this space for more.
